Grey's Anatomy star Justin Chambers and his wife, Keisha Chambers, were spotted last night at a charity auction for The Art of Elysium in Hollywood.

Better Justin Chambers pictures have surely been taken in the past - he looks a bit Alex Karev-like in this one - but it's nice to see this happy, married couple out supporting a good cause.

The cast of Grey's Anatomy is not at war. 

That's according to Justin Chambers, who plays the hunky, moody Dr. Alex Karev on the hit medical drama. Chambers was spotted out at the Xbox 360 Gears of War launch in Los Angeles earlier this week and Life & Style Weekly caught up with him briefly.

Chambers was, of course, asked about the recent conflict on set, but was quick to downplay it, calling the fight between co-stars Isaiah Washington and Patrick Dempsey on October 9 nothing but "water under the bridge" by now.

"It happened awhile ago. Like any workplace, we spend a lot of time together. Sometimes we get into arguments and sometimes we don’t," said Chambers, a former model and father of five.

"We’re a pretty close-knit family. Everything’s smooth now. Everything is fine. We’re all getting along fine."

As for another fellow cast member, T.R. Knight, whose decision to come out of the closet sparked even more discussion this past week, Chambers simply says, "It’s all cool."

"T.R. is a great guy. He felt the need to explain that. It’s his personal life, and God bless him."

By special request, we've pulled together a few images from Justin Chambers' modeling days. Before becoming an actor, Justin was discovered by an agent (who he is now married to and has five children with) and signed to various modeling deals. He posed for Calvin Klein, Armani and others.

In an effort to answer that, iVillage.com profiled 10 of TV's most eligible bachelors to find out how their characters stack up in the dating world... especially compared to themselves. One of the characters profiled was none other than Dr. Alex Karev of Grey's Anatomy.

It may surprise you to learn that the macho intern played by Justin Chambers bears little resemblance to the actor. Chambers, 35, has been married to wife Keisha for more than 12 years and has five children.

Even in his single days, Chambers says he was "a little more secure with himself. [Alex] is a little more insecure, and hides it with bravado."

Very interesting stuff, and proof that Chambers is a talented actor. He sure makes a convincing insecure jackass on TV! Other TV bachelors profiled on the site were James Denton, who plays plumber/vigilante Mike Delfino on the popular Grey's Anatomy lead-in, Desperate Housewives, and Barry Watson of What About Brian. Both are also married. Sorry, ladies.

Justin Chambers, who plays a protective father and police detective on the trail of the real-life 1960s Zodiac serial killer in the film The Zodiac, which opens Friday, can relate very personally to his character.

The life of Grey's Anatomy star and Springfield, Ohio, native was turned upside down during his freshman year in high school. His parents, John and Pam, both sheriff's deputies, were assigned to two heinous murders on the outskirts of town.

Chambers, 35, then tells USA Today about a mischievous childhood friend of his named Rodney. A neighborhood man thought Rodney and some other kids were stealing from him. Then he lost it.

"One day, the old guy just flipped out and went to my friend's home and shot my friend, his baby brother and their other siblings," Chambers said. "Then later that summer, there was another incident where a woman and her son were butchered by her boyfriend. That's as evil as it gets."

Ever wonder just what the pompous, yet charming Alex Karev is thinking?

In a recent interview, Fred Topel, an entertainment authority for About.com, takes a look inside the mind of Justin Chambers, who plays Alex on TV's best show. Below, Justin talks about how Grey's Anatomy has changed his life, as well as his most recent motion picture appearance as star of The Zodiac.

Justin on Alex Karev:

"Some cool stuff's going to happen with Alex. He's definitely going to go back to the darker side. He's going to fall into that. He just has a lot to work out. He doesn't know how to express himself correctly. I think he's in love with Izzy, but she's not."

On contributing to Alex-related story lines:

"Yeah, I've had a few ideas. Sometimes they'll listen, and sometimes they don't. I just give them ideas. I'm not a writer. Far from it. Sometimes, we'll get the script a day before we start shooting. Then throughout even shooting that week, they'll change things completely, and even take the character in a different way. It's always a surprise."

On Grey's Anatomy guest stars:

"We had Laurie Metcalfe. Mary Kay Place came on right before. And then recently you saw Natalie Cole. That's what makes the job fun. You come in, not knowing who's coming in, and you watch their work and get to learn. They're usually really gracious, and exciting to watch. It's a really nice gig."
