Another Justin Chambers, Elizabeth Reaser Photo

Last week, TV Guide dropped the major spoiler bomb that Alex and Ava would reunite in the coming episodes of Grey's Anatomy. They certainly make a great couple - at least we thought so when she was introduced in Season 3 - and we can't wait to see what Grey's Anatomy's writing team has in store for these two this year.

Here's another photo of Alex (Justin Chambers) and Ava (Elizabeth Reaser) from the newest edition of TV Guide. We haven't seen Alex smile like that since... ever!

Justin Chambers, Keisha Chambers at Movie Premiere

Grey's Anatomy star Justin Chambers, a.k.a. Alex Karev, was seen out last night with his wife of over a decade, Keisha, at the premiere of the new movie Rendition (starring Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal) at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on Saturday in Beverly Hills, Calif. Hot couple!

Justin Chambers, Children Pick Out Pumpkins

In a rare photo opportunity, low-profile Grey's Anatomy star Justin Chambers, a.k.a. Dr. Alex Karev, was spotted out and about Saturday in Los Angeles.

Justin and his wife of over a decade, Keisha, prepared for Halloween by going pumpkin picking at the Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch with their five children!

Unlike commitment-phobe Dr. Karev, the actor who plays him is the ultimate family man. Keisha and Justin Chambers are the proud parents of Isabella, 10, fraternal twins Maya and Kaila, 8, Eva, 6, and Jackson, 5.

Here are a couple of photos of Justin Chambers picking out some pumpkins for his daughters. For a full album of their outing, click here ...

Tales From the Grey's Anatomy Set

In an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the set of Grey's Anatomy, USA Today's William Keck lends his observations of what goes on that we don't see...

Sandra Oh looks sleepy, wrapped in a parka and heading to her chair. Hers is special compared with all the others' standard-issue director's chairs. Oh's has extra padding, a fancy curved foot rest and a canvas compartment under the seat. While the other actors have their full names silk-screened onto the backs of their chairs, Sandra Oh's is marked with two block letters: OH. She never talks to on-set journalists, but she offers a friendly late-in-the-day wink as she walks by.

Trailer mates

Justin Chambers (Alex Karev) shares his trailer, or "tin box," as he calls it, with Katherine Heigl (Izzie Stevens). "I hear her loud mouth all the time " girl's got a loud mouth," he kids. Heigl slams right back: She says she has to listen to "trailer buddy" Chambers' daily doses of Judge Judy or Montel Williams. "I think he falls asleep with the TV on," she playfully groans. Chambers has more expansive digs off-set. Over the summer he purchased a California home with his wife Keisha. Each of his five kids now has his or her own room!

Cute little cuss

Sandra Oh has a habit of playfully cussing in scenes when she's not on camera, at one point asking Ellen Pompeo, "What the (expletive) was that?" and calling Pompeo's Meredith "a whore." Says T.R. Knight (George), who shares his on-set trailer with Oh: "She has done that, always."

Eric Dane, Rebecca Gayheart Welcome Cast to Chrysalis Butterfly Ball

Eric Dane and Rebecca GayheartGrey's Anatomy star Eric Dane and his wife, Rebecca Gayheart, welcomed his fellow cast members and other celebrities to the Chrysalis Butterfly Ball over the weekend.

An L.A.-based non-profit organization, Chrysalis is dedicated to helping economically disadvantaged and homeless individuals become self-sufficient through employment opportunities.

In attendance was the former Grey's Anatomy and current Private Practice star, Kate Walsh, and her new fiance, Alex Young.

Rounding out the Grey's Anatomy-related attendees were the handsome Justin Chambers and his wife Keisha, Patrick Dempsey and wife Jillian, Ellen Pompeo, Sara Ramirez and T.R. Knight.

Gayheart has been organizing the event for months. As a result, she and Dane are going on a month-long, around-the-world vacation before he returns to the set of Grey's Anatomy to begin filming Season 4.

Justin Chambers: Ultimate Family Man

Justin Chambers may play a mysterious bad boy on TV.

But as we've discussed at length, the actor behind the increasingly complex Alex Karev on Grey's Anatomy is nothing like his character in real life.

See the picture below. Justin Chambers and his family were spotted outside of the Hollywood Protestant Church in Los Angeles on Easter Sunday...

Justin Chambers and Family

Justin and wife Keisha are seen here with their five kids, including four daughters: 12-year-old Isabella, nine-year-old twins Maya and Kaila, and seven-year-old Eva. Their youngest offspring is their only son, five-year-old Jackson. Justin and Keisha Chambers, a former model agency booker, have been married for 13 years. Clearly they have their hands full, but are making it work! The rewards are certainly worth it.

Justin Chambers: Grey's Anatomy Bad Boy

Justin Chambers on the cover of TV Guide"Does this look unhealthy to you?" Justin Chambers asks.

The man who plays surgical intern Alex Karev on Grey's Anatomy is not talking about the cigarette he just stubbed out in the parking lot of a Hollywood café, a move that made him look like one of those high-school hotties who ditch math class for a smoke.

Nor is he referring to the TGIF Bloody Mary he'll soon order.

The object of Chambers' inspection and scrutiny, according to TV Guide, which interviewed the star and put him on its most recent cover, is the late lunch just delivered to the table: a run-of-the-mill Cobb salad complete with turkey, bacon and blue cheese.

"I'm no spring chicken," the 36-year-old declares without a shred of irony, patting the nonexistent gut beneath his snap-front Western shirt. "Thank god they have a gym at work."

Not that you've seen much of his torso lately.

Unlike the other doctors at Seattle Grace, Alex Karev hasn't been having steam-up-the-mirrors sex with coworkers.

Okay, so he did make out with the very hot Addison Montgombery, but then he blew her off, extinguishing fan hopes of an Addisex romance.

And yes, he has moved into Meredith Grey's house â€" in very close proximity to his ex, the equally hot Izzie Stevens â€" but catching her coming out of the shower in the communal bathroom barely gave him a rise.

Chambers Shaped By Unique Upbringing

Justin ChambersJustin Chambers can take plenty of credit, if you'd call it that, for Grey's Anatomy being dubbed "ER on Viagra".

From the moment the show launched two years ago, Chambers' arrogant, wise-guy intern, Alex Karev, became a character that viewers either loved or loathed, Australia's Courier-Mail notes.

But Justin Chambers, the Calvin Klein model-turned-actor, couldn't be less like his skirt-chasing character.

His career in front of a camera began when a modelling agent noticed him on a Paris subway, and he has arguably the most settled private life of the entire Grey's Anatomy cast.

He has been married to wife Keisha for 14 years and is a father of five - Isabella, twins Maya and Kaila, Eva and Jackson.

The other surprising fact about Justin Chambers, 37, is that he travelled an unconventional path to a career in showbiz.

One of five children himself, Justin had a sometimes traumatic upbringing in small town Springfield, Ohio. As a result of his parents having jobs as sheriff's deputies, he grew accustomed to tales of murder and lawlessness.

Never was this darkness more apparent than when Chambers' high-school friend, a teenager named Rodney, met a grisly end.

A man from the neighborhood suspected Rodney and other boys were stealing from him. The man reacted by bursting into Rodney's home, shooting him, his baby brother and their siblings.

A second incident, where a woman and her son were butchered by her boyfriend, also left Justin Chambers rattled.

"It was kind of nasty, some of that stuff," Chambers says. "I did a movie about the Zodiac serial killer (in which he played a 1960s detective) and it (experiences from his teens and having cops as parents) played into that.

Look For Justin Chambers in TV Guide

Yeah, yeah. McDreamy, McSteamy. Ho hum.

No offense to the aforementioned characters or actors. But it's nice to see that TV Guide happily objectifies Grey's Anatomy's other hunky star, Justin Chambers (Alex Karev) in its latest "Sexy Issue."

Justin & Kate

In real life, the 36-year-old Chambers (pictured with Grey's Anatomy co-star Kate Walsh) is a kind, dedicated husband to wife Keisha and a father of five children: Isabella, Maya, Kaila, Eva and Jackson.

But none of that makes the somewhat arrogant, sometimes sensitive, always mysterious Alex Karev any less of a sexy marvel.

"When we were over in Italy doing press, women went crazy for him," Kate Walsh told TV Guide. "He was like a Beatle. They just screamed and cried."

Who can blame them? We'll have more on Justin's appearance in TV Guide soon. Interesting that in real life, he, Eric Dane and Patrick Dempsey are all happily married and not at all like their characters.

Justin Chambers: Cast Working Things Out

Justin Chambers, who plays Dr. Alex Karev on Grey's Anatomy, said that the players in the show's off-screen controversy are continuing to work out their problems â€" and that it's a shame the spat has distracted from the program's impressive accomplishments.

Justin ChambersAsked by Barbara Walters on The View how things were going over at the ABC show since the storm over Isaiah Washington's gay slur erupted, Chambers replied that while the circumstances aren't ideal, the parties are trying to resolve it.

"That's the question right now. It's an unfortunate situation. They're trying to work it out," he said.

Chambers, 36, said the dark cloud that's been hanging over Grey's Anatomy since the Golden Globe Awards is unfortunate, considering the creative accolades it's earned.

"We won the Golden Globe, and it's kind of overshadowed that fact - and the fact that it's such a large cast, that we work a lot of hours and we get along really well," he said.

Kate Walsh, who also stars on Grey's Anatomy, tells Extra she is hopeful the show's cast and crew can eventually get past the situation.

"I feel really sad...I'm just saying my prayers," she said at the Sundance Film Festival. "I don't know what is going to happen... I just trust that our show will deal with it in the way that they see fit."

The off-screen saga began in October, when costars Washington and Patrick Dempsey got into a fight on the set, and Washington allegedly used a gay slur to refer to another co-star, T.R. Knight. Washington then fanned the flames at the Golden Globes by repeating the word (while denying he said the word), although he eventually apologized.

On a lighter note, Chambers, who has five children with his wife, Keisha - including twins Maya and Kaila (born in 1999), told The View's co-hosts that he'd given some advice to Patrick Dempsey, whose wife, Jillian, is expecting twin sons this winter. His words of wisdom?

"Strap yourself in, and get ready."
