It's a new beginning here at the Insider. At least it feels like one, with this week's Caption Contest featuring a healthy dose of MerDer love... and sarcasm, pity, STDs and more, according to your caption submissions.

It was a tough call, but our staff has come to a consensus and named Justin the winner. We were ultimately swayed by this utterly bizarre effort, but we have to give Lynette, Lauren and Sherry honorable mentions for their passion (and sappiness). Derek: You know it is difficult for me with my wife. Since Addison got here she has slept with the Chief, Alex, my vet and gave Denny an erotic massage. The only reason she went into gynecology was to help control her nymphomaniacal tendencies with the opposite sex!

It's that time again. The time we know and love. Fourth of July weekend. Warm weather, fireworks, cookouts... can't be beat. Oh, and it's also time for the Grey's Anatomy Caption Contest. We almost forgot. Not really.

This week's winner, for the image below, is Rachel. We got a lot of good replies but hers took the cake by a slim margin. Other caption that deserve honorable mentions came from Emma, Flaca and April -- but everyone is a winner here at the Insider. We are grateful for every response we get, and appreciate how fun you make this weekly contest.

Another fine Caption Contest this past week, we have to say. A lot of responses regarding flatulence, some of which were amusing, and some other replies that came out of left field. After much debate, the staff has come to a consensus and named Leila the winner. Congratulations. No honorable mentions this week, because (... wait for it ...) you guys all the bomb. Get it? The picture? Never mind.

Another week, another Grey's Anatomy Insider Caption Contest.
