Grey's Anatomy Caption Contest XLV

There was no new episode of Grey's Anatomy on last week, but that doesn't mean that the Caption Contest took a week off.

As usual, our weekly Caption Contest (XLV) produced its share of great replies. A screen capture from "Where the Boys Are" was pretty much guaranteed to do that. We received a number of terrific entries, but in the end, we had to go with the one submitted by SheStoleMyMcLife.

Congratulations! The winning caption appears beneath the image. Scroll down the page to glance through the complete list of candidates. Good luck again this week, and thanks to you all for participating in this contest - and making us the top Grey's Anatomy site online.

"I swear, if one of you two idiots doesn't tell me, I'm going to bang your heads against a rock and make it look like an accident."

Grey's Anatomy Caption Contest XLIV

The previous week set a record for caption submissions, something we expect the thrilling three-part storyline had a little to do with. But Caption Contest XLIV produced nearly as many replies, which we were thrilled with.

This image, taken from "Some Kind of Miracle," garnered some truly hilarious and thought-provoking captions. It was, as always, a tough decision and there are just too many great ones to list. Ultimately, we had to choose the caption sent in by Delirium-ZerO.

Congratulations to the winner! The winning caption appears beneath the picture. Scroll down the page to read the complete list of responses received over the past week. Good luck this week, and thank you to everyone for participating - and making us the top Grey's Anatomy site on the Web.

Grey's Anatomy Caption Contest XLIII

An unforgettable three-part event made for a record number of responses to Caption Contest XLIII. They were terrific, too. Maybe you're getting funnier with time, or maybe a confused-looking Alex Karev just makes it really easy. Whatever the reason, this was a great Caption Contest.

We had a lot of fun reading the entries. Choosing the best caption for this picture, taken from Thursday's "Drowning On Dry Land," was not easy.

Honorable mentions go out to McYummy_lover, That McBastard, Laura (great Britney Spears reference), Molly (best use of Addisex) and Marla (best ad for cellphone company). Everyone did a great job this week, but since we have to pick one champion, our winner is Jacob K.

Congrats! The winning caption appears beneath the picture below. You can scroll down to read the complete list of great responses we got. Thanks to all of you for playing, and for making us the top Grey's Anatomy site on the web. Good luck again this week!

Grey's Anatomy Caption Contest XLII

Given the incredible interest sparked by last week's "Drowning On Dry Land," there's no surprise that Caption Contest XLII generated a record number of responses. Which, in turn, made it that much more challenging to pick this week's Caption Contest winner.

The image below comes from the first episode of the three-part event, "Walk On Water." Given the events of the enusing "Drowning On Dry Land," we had to go with the caption sent in by Eliz as this week's winner.

The winning caption appears below the picture. Congrats to the winner, and to all of you who wrote in. It was a great contest and a terrific episode. Scroll down and see the complete list of responses you sent in. Good luck again this week, Grey's Anatomy fans. Good luck.

"Yang's Anatomy. I am Meredith's best friend, and if she dies, I call it!"

Grey's Anatomy Caption Contest XLI

We planned it so Caption Contest XLI would be unveiled the day after Super Bowl XLI. We swear. Okay, maybe not. Funny coincidence aside, this edition of the Caption Contest was just your standard Monday afternoon fare.

But you all did great. The picture below, from "Wishin' and Hopin'," led to some seriously funny replies. Kristy, PINK MIST and Greysrunsmylife all submitted captions worthy of honorable mentions. Haley definitely won best nazi reference, while Josh wins best Super Bowl-related caption (it was Caption Contest XLI, after all).

But there can be only one Caption Contest champion, and our staff has chosen SheStoleMyMcLife! She stole this contest, too... albeit barely. It was one of the most competitive editions yet, and we hope to receive even more stellar entries this week.

The winning reply appears below. Congrats to the winner, and to all of you who wrote in. Scroll down and see the complete list of responses. Good luck again this week, Grey's Anatomy fans. Good luck.

"You know those cartoons, where there's a bear or whatever, and its starving, and it looks at eight million dollars, and it wants to open up a free clinic, and somehow it opens it in eight days and then ends up with no patients? Yeah... that's us."

Grey's Anatomy Caption Contest XL

Another Monday in the books. And that means another Grey's Anatomy Insider Caption Contest winner to be announced

This week's image is taken from "Great Expectations," airing Thursday, January 25. We received some great entries (Grey's Lover, Beth and Randy almost won), but in the end, we've decided that SheStoleMyMcLife has won this week's contest with a funny play on Addison's assessment of Mark vying for Richard's post.

The winning reply appears below. Congratulations to the winner, and to all of you who participated. Scroll down to see the complete list of submissions. Good luck again week - and may the Grey's Anatomy force be with you.

Grey's Anatomy Caption Contest XXXIX

It's Monday, and you know what that means. For most, back to work. For all Grey's Anatomy fans, the Insider's official weekly Caption Contest. This week's image is taken from last week's moving "Six Days (Part II)."

As always, it was tough to pick a winner for the Caption Contest with so many good responses from. Honorable mentions go out to Eric, Shell and YourButtonRupturesIt'sEsophogus,I'mYou'reWoman (which is by far our favorite username among 525 registered names).

But something about the caption sent in by Laura stood out. Simple, but it works. Congratulations to this week's winner, and thanks to all for playing and helping make us the best Grey's Anatomy site on the web! Scroll down for the complete list of entries, and best of luck this week!

Grey's Anatomy Caption Contest XXXVIII

Monday, January 15, was a national holiday, but at the Insider, that wasn't about to derail our Grey's Anatomy Caption Contest. Especially as we awaited Part II of the previous week's thrilling episode, "Six Days."

We received 57 replies to the image below and are proud to announce the winner: LoveGreys. It was the very first entry we received and none could quite top it, although a lot of you sent in terrific ones and came close. The winning entry appears beneath the image.

Grey's Anatomy Caption Contest XXXVII

Another week, another Grey's Anatomy Caption Contest. After a long layoff, the show returned with the all-new "Six Days" on Thursday. The Insider is officially back on its regular Monday Caption Contest schedule as well!

We've looked over all of the reponses and decided that Sarah is the winner. Such a simple caption, but one that says all there is to say about Grey's Anatomy and the characters we love. The winning entry appears below the picture. For the full list of responses, scroll down. Thanks as always for playing, and best of luck this week!

Sadly, Grey's Anatomy is in repeat mode until January 4. But at least we still have the Caption Contest to keep things interesting.

We've taken a long, hard look at the 45 replies we received for this image (from "Oh, the Guilt"), and determined that Miaka is the winner. The winning reply appears below, underneath the picture. Scroll down for the full list of submissions we received!
