Grey's Anatomy Spoilers: Is Izzie Pregnant?
Izzie Stevens returns to Grey’s Anatomy this week ... but is she alone?
No, we're not talking about her high school mentor. We mean is she pregnant?
The new promo for this week's "New History" certainly implies that she is ... or does it? Is it just another deceiving promo, a classic Shonda Rhimes mind game at work?
It will be interesting to see who Meredith is directing her "You’re pregnant?" at ... and whether it's even true. Remember Rose's "I'm pregnant, Derek ... kidding!" Exactly.
If Izzie were in fact pregnant, the timing could be fortuitous for the put-upon Dr. Stevens.
As series creator Shonda Rhimes told TV Guide, “Izzie has had everything taken from her - she’s had cancer, she’s lost a friend [George], and she had what she saw as a betrayal of a relationship [with Alex] when she got fired - so she’s sort of standing on this very delicate place where she feels like she has nothing left to live for."
"She’s searching for some reason to hang on.”
What do you think? Is she knocked up, or is this just misdirection?

Is she even healthy enough to carry a child, shes has been through a lot recently, if anybody's pregnant I want it to be Lexie or Meredith.

I don't think she is pregnant. Didn't they remove her eggs before she went through all of her cancer stuff? Is it still possible for her to have kids the natural way? I think it is just misdirection.

Well, for once I'm rooting for a little soapy Grey's babies:) Now it might be a good time:) But I think it could be Izzie though, she's more like (that's the way it's supposed to be: wedding and then a baby). I just don't see Mer and Derek baby just yet. Especially not Mark and Lexie, she's just too young (Mark on the other hand is - OLD he could've had grandchildren):)

I don't think it is possibly that she is pregnant. After all the treatment.. and it is too soon for her.. she is not healthy enough to carry a child!

I think she's not pregnant. Maybe Mer (like maybe they mixed up some labs or something and it was really Mer's back to work labs to check on her that found out she's preggers! Probably it's actually a patient or a misdirection entirely)

I think it a typical misleading promo.
But it will be funny if Izzie is pregnant, because it will last for two seasons, haha. Since three seasons is equal to one year in Grey's world. So, we will see a baby in season 8. Can't wait!

I don't think anyone is pregnant, but probably Mer finds out that Izzie was pregnant in high school...maybe her old teacher mentions it or something.

I don´t think anyone is pregnant. It can´t be Izzie and I really doubt it´s Meredith. They would write it as a clifhanger for the end of the season. Not really a story I would like to see yet. Lexie is too young and Mark is soooo old for her. I think if it were one of them, it would be Cristina with Owen. But I doubt it.

Alexia I agree with you I think Izzie's teacher with dementia is confusing Izzie with 16 year old pregnant Izzie. Meredith probably overhears and thinks that Izzie is pregnant now or something.

But then again Meredith knows very well how dementia works.
