Private Practice Episode Guide: "The Way We Were"

It may be a month after the events of the season premiere fell into place and everybody came out of that situation okay, but the doctors of ABC's Private Practice are still a mess.

Addison is upset at losing Noah, even if her affair with him was only emotional. She's also sad about losing Nae as a friend, as Sam laments losing her in a totally different way.

Cooper can't get over the fact that he let that happen to Violet, even if she says it isn't his fault. Pete and Sheldon still don't know how to feel about Violet and her new baby.

Worst of all, neither does Violet herself. She's still so traumatized and lost after what she went through. She says she doesn't even feel anything toward her own little boy.

This episode felt odd to me. I liked it, especially the Sam/Addie scenes but it felt weird.

I really feel bad for Violet. She's suffering her PTSD. I felt so bad for her when she gave the baby to Pete. She needs help but good thing that she recognized that right now she isn't healthy and well enough to her child.

Bailey comes next episode. Did anyone saw the promo? Bailey and Sam sitting in a tree...

I feel badly for Violet too. It may take a long while for her to recover from that incident. I hope she and Pete's relationship can survive the ordeal. But I like Sheldon too!

It was a pretty good episode but I really am looking forward to next week with Bailey. I hope Bailey & Sam can hook up so he can get over Naomi. Bailey already has a certain amount of disdain toward Naomi last season after meeting her in Seattle. I smell a love triangle...but I have never seen Bailey in a romantic scene. This will be very, very interesting indeed!

"but I have never seen Bailey in a romantic scene."

There is a reason for that.

I'm glad someone made the decision to do it anyway.

    Finally.

I'm glad it is with the beautiful Sam! And I hope it is not a dream or fantasy sequence.

It was a very good episode. I felt so sorry for Violet. The scene when she went to Pete and gave him the baby was so emotional and moving. I hope both Violet and Pete will be able to survive this and find their happiness. I love them both! And kudos to Amy Brenneman and Tim Daly. They are fantastic actors, their acting this season is one of the best I've ever seen.

Episode was good - but I think this week will be GREAT. Bailey is amazing and I am so happy Shonda is actually addressing the disappearance of Noah, unlike the very subtle "oh look, Wyatt's gone!" last season, which was ridiculous.

Anyway, hope Violet will get better - I love her character, and it's hard to have her so depressed.

Paternity of baby? Pete or Sheldon?

I hate myself for this but I really hope it's Sheldon. I have the deep wish that Pete and Addison will eventually get together and I don't know if it'll be possible if Violet's baby turns out to be Pete's.

I agree that it's good to address the Noah disappearance. I personally don't regret that he's gone but I felt robbed when Wyatt left.
