Q: Any news on what's ahead for Cristina and Owen on Grey's Anatomy? I really like them together and don't want Kim Raver's character to break this couple up.
A: Sorry, Lisa, but Raver's Teddy is definitely going to be an obstacle to Crowen. What might surprise you, though, is that Teddy won't be the first bump in the road.
Word is sparks are going to fly between Yang and new Mercy West doc Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams) in the November 5 episode, a week before Teddy scrubs in.
Uh oh.

no no no no no!!! we waited too long for owen and cristina to get together!! PLEASE don't break them apart! their chemistry is just too freaking good. she and owen just need to be happy for a while, they're already having issues...

well, Owen has been ignoring Cristina despite her help to make him heal from war experience. Every time she asks him for support, given the merger and all that, he just seems to play tough. So no wonder she misses Burke and she starts to look at other men! Good for her! She deserves someone who really sees her, not that just hangs on her when he needs

I totally agree with you ana! when owen needed cristina she was their for him and now when cristina needs his support during a crisis in her life, hes no where to be found! I think that the new mercy west guy is hot and I'm sure that he and cristina would be hot together but I'm still a big owen and cristina fan, so I hope owen figuires out how to be a better boyfriend to cristina before he loses her. I have to say I'm not really enjoying this season as much as I've enjoyed others and its because of this. The minute the wirters get us invested in a couple they do everything possible to break them up. so annoying!
Plus: did anyone notice that this is all suppoused to go down in the 6.08 episode, the same one where it says that cristina is going to be testing owens boundaries at work. interseting???

AHHHHhhhhh! So torn! On one hand I would like to see Owen get jealous... primarily because I was watching some season 5 episodes and I thought, "What happened to the Owen that pursued Cristina non-stop? Why does he just sit there now not even knowing she's in pain?" It made me realize he doesn't really know anything about her.
Jackson is similar to Cristina, very competitive. I see how it could work. But I Owen & Cristina had such a long story and I think breaking them up would suck (and make a lot of people mad!). I'm just annoyed that Teddy is going to add even more drama to everything. Poor Cristina is sure to be conflicted... finally a cardio god but one that has a thing with Owen? Seriously? At least there's Jackson to comfort her?!

Well, I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one disapointed in Owen's behaviour. I think that he's acting this way because he's giving her for granted, which is awful, considering everything she's done for him. I mean, she agreed to go to therapy to work his problems out, for God sake! That should be enough for him to respect her.
I'm truly hating those writers right now. Not only are they giving crapy Owen/Cristina screen time, but it's gonnna get worse! I honestly don't know what they're thinking.
Let's hope that our all-time-favourite couple can move past this.

after all, he abandoned his fiancée with an e-mail, what kind of man do that and why (coward), cristina told him in that chapter his girlfriend deserved better and she's right, and cristina deserves better too

I totally agree with ana and stephanie here. I love Owen and Cristina but he is never there for her like she was there for him when he needed her!! If she can confide in him she would go talking to him not going to Meredith's about her feelings and stuff!! It seems that he doesn't know anything about her at all, I doubt he know about her and Burke, no wonder she will be going for other men with the look from this spoiler!! Jackson is totally HOT I would go for him too loool!! I am so excited for this.. Seriously!!
