While the Seattle Grace regulars battle an "Invasion" of newcomers, one Grey's Anatomy mainstay, Dr. Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson), will be crossing to Private Practice!
Bailey brings a kidney transplant patient to L.A., and Addison, her former Seattle colleague, isn't the only Oceanside doc pleased to see her, according to the press release.
We don't know entirely what that cryptic description implies, but from the photo gallery we've seen, it looks like Bailey works closely with Sam (Taye Diggs) on the case.
Meanwhile, Addison's emotional affair with Noah comes back to bite her, while Sheldon and Pete finally - yes, really, finally! - discover who the father of Violet's baby is.

just wondering, does anyone know if Bailey will tell Addison that Geroge has died? by the looks of it Addison has no idea and i think that could be emotional as Addison did work with George for a while! anyone know?

This makes me excited. I enjoy PP but Bailey in there will certainly make it better.
I think Bailey is going to fill Addison of what's going on at SGH, so probably she'll know George is dead, Izzie has cancer, and MerDer are married. I'm not sure it'll make a huge impact on her but she'll know.

Can't wait! Love the cross-overs with GA/PP!! And I do wonder how Addie will take Bailey's news. Hmm.

If sam is a thorasic surgeon wouldn't it have been smarter to send him to Grey's? It would be a fix for Christina's problems and fill in the gap of Izzy, George, and Meredeth's absence.
