OMG! I loved Derek & Izzie together. They should do more scenes. It was so mcdreamy & cute how he was worried about her. He was like the only one. Besides Alex ofcourse. He's so cute, they're really happily married!

DEREK wuold be a great chief for SGH, i like me as derek was worried for Izzie ,great scene.The chief has been dreadful, while Karev has been sweet with IZZIE .THIS is a beautiful scene ,i love it.

All I have to say is why the hell isn't Derek chief already? He was the only one who had the courage to go and say goodbye and offer job recommendations. Richard is a coward. Bad bad move on him.
I think Derek's concern for Izzie was more about the panic at SGH for the merger than a real real concern for her. It was about showing the lengths that residents were working to keep their jobs.
Not that it means that Derek didn't really care about her well being but I'm not sure about being worried FOR her.
Oh, and the stair convo between MerDer? Cute. I love Derek's reaction to Mer's calmness. Loving this new Mer. Also, I have to admit that pregnancy really suited EP. She looked gorgeous last night.
My favorite scene of the night (aside from the baseball) is the one with the pudding. LOL. Mean Cristina is great.

Derek is McDreamy! And in this episode he was dreamier than ever.
Stepping up to fight for everybody and comforting the people, he did the chief’s job with professionalism and care. A true leader.
The best? He didn’t insult Richard with Meredith. “He’s not being himself”. What a noble comment. He’s disappointed and frustrated with his old mentor, his friend. He could be angry and say “He’s being an ass” at least only with Meredith. But he didn’t. He knows Richard enough to know something is wrong with him. He yelled at him first, but in the end he came serenely to ask Richard to talk to his coworkers.
And yes, Meredith was radiant!!!
