The Latest Grey's Anatomy Gossip and Rumors

As we inch closer to the Season 6 premiere of Grey's Anatomy just two weeks from tonight, more details of the big two-part episode are coming to light.

Here's the latest from Entertainment Weekly and its resident sleuth Michael Ausiello ...

Q: Can you please tell me if there are any good Owen and Cristina scenes in the Grey’s Anatomy Season 6 premiere? I know they won’t have sex in the episode, but will the tragedy of George O'Malley's death bring them closer together?

A: They have a really moving hand-holding scene. Does that count?

Q: After watching the Grey’s Anatomy premiere can you please tell me anything about Mer-Der? What's to come for them this season?

A: If you were among those who thought the Post-It note wedding was some kind of bad joke, there’s a scene at George’s funeral that should put a smile on your face.

I guess merder make it legal!

I'm getting SOOO annoyed with the "perfect white fluffy crappy wedding" Mer and Der were supposed to have. Quit it already. The post-it wedding was exactly what it should be. I don't want a big white wedding! It doesn't suit them.
It's not frickin' Santa Barbara for god's sake! :P

Hmmmmmmmm...So do you think they would ask the priest to marry them privately after the funeral ceremony. Weird, but it was my first thought when I read that comment,

    Stacey

  4. Angela Says:

Wouldn't it be smart for them(Merder)to realize, hey, the priest is standing in front of us why not make it legal, that way we have it out of our way. Although that would be tacky because they are doing it after a funeral. Haha..a merder fan can only hope

  5. anuflas Says:

I thought the same thing as Stacey. Although I'm not sure how since Mer isn't religious.

Or maybe the priest just gives them some sort of reassurance that they don't need a ceremony or whatever to have a commitment or a marriage.

Anja, LOL. I wasn't a huge fan of the post it but loved what it meant. I think that the issue is not the wedding itself but the legality of the marriage. To me, it's the only thing left to resolve.

  6. Saturnina Says:

Oh, come on, Anja! I loved Santa Barbara weddings...:P Are we talking about the tv show?

I think if the post-it wedding is "wedding" enough for them, it's ok...

Ah, Meredith Grey getting married at a funeral. If that's what's going to happen, it's irony at its finest.

My Husband & I are 40ish "late bloomer Newlyweds" So I Feel vetted to respond to the 1st question as to Christina & Owen Romance level..Seriously..(sorry I couldn't resist ..lol)..Anyone that doesn't think Hand-Holding can be Very Sensuous and Sexual & Affectionate & Deeply Bonding isn't doing it right !!!

  9. Israel_Forever Says:

It makes perfect sense...we are genetically wired to feel the need to Mate when faced by death.. especially when the deceased is younger than old...its Biological..its our DNA telling us to replace what we have lost Paired with a Giant dose of life is short and turns on a moment...besides its the only way they could have George at the wedding.
