OMG! It was the MOST EMO-EST (if that is even a word) episode (well the second ep) of Greys ever.
MY head was exploding with the words freaking cry people! freaking cry!! Let it OUT!!
-When the fab four laughed at the funeral i was like omg wtf (but understandably i would have laughed as well at the ridiculousness of it)
-Kristen (the writer for this ep) did an excellent job. Owen and Cristina story lines looks really really exciting (for the future episodes).
-The merger announcement makes this season even more amazing
-I hate T.R Knight even more i wish he would have at least returned for 1 episode so George could have had proper send off. (now i expect a frenzy of iheartgeorgeblameshonda fans to launch their volley of fury at me about Shonda etc etc [i do not care])
-I liked the role reversal of Derek stoping the elevator when we remember in season 2 (i think) she stopped it so Derek would grieve over a patient quickly. For a minute i thought did she really let it out but remembering how short Derek's elevator moment i thought it would make sense to parallel that.
-And GA insider was right about shifting the focus out of Meredith the opener didnt seem to leave a trace of an apparent story line about to take place (understandably baby and all in reality.
    - OH and what really surprised me was Torres Leaving GREYS!! I was like omg wtf serious!

I know its a lot but OMG!
    TL;DR summary
Awesome ep, Cristina X Owen fans = Exciting times up ahead (well to me it looked like it). Merger looks like it will make it interesting for everyone.

i liked mark & lexie. That was really funny. And ofcourse i loved izzie.

but some scenes in this episode were really weird. I didn't really see anyone really hurt about george death except voor izzie.

this is the cruelest episode from all grey's anatomy history, I hate shonda, she is responsible for this, for T.R. departure from the show, for the first time in my grey's life i didn't like at all this episode, this show won't be the same anymore, as we knew it, as we loved it, i'm truly disappointed, it is like i lost a part of me, that shonda took it from me, the fifth season was super, was the most excellent season i have ever seen among all tv show, but this season is gonna suck, i bet it will

  4. Daryl Says:

I loved the season premiere. Most memorable moments:

    1) Izzie laughing. It was so in line with how she also laughed during the bomb incident, in Season 2.
    2) Meredith finally giving in and crying upon seeing George's empty locker.
    3) Lexie and Mark used to disgust me. Now they are just super cute together.
    4) Cristina insulting everybody, right, left and center. The best part was declaring how she'd have sex with Izzie, and everyone's going: WTF! And that pout she had on her face when Owen dared her to make him quit therapy!
    5) Derek stopping the elevator for Bailey. Again, reminiscent of Season 2. But Bailey appears too harsh, and too strict with herself, I feel. But that's the Nazi for you.
    6) Dr. Wyatt FTW!
    7) Alex yelling at Izzie, finally explaining why he has failed to consummate his marriage with Izzie. Typical Alex moment; but it tugged on the heartstrings, man. Oh, Izzie telling Alex to take his pants off was another Season 2 reference, no? I love this feeling of continuity.
    8) Callie's sheer hotness. 'Nuff said.
    9) Clara is probably one of the most stirring medical cases I've seen so far. Trust Cristina to come up with a pithy but funny nickname for her patients.
    10) Owen telling George's mom that she should be proud of her son. Teary moment! *sniff*

Clearly, I loved it. Not only was it character-centric, the premiere was heavy on plot development as well. What a ride -- although it seems as though the writers want to get George out of the picture as fast as possible, by making them go through the entire process of grief within 2 hours. Still, I loved it.

  5. caroline Says:

i did not like it. it was weird... everyone was laughing at things that were not funny. and it seemed really cheesy. i have been watching greys anatomy since it started and this just did not live up to my expectations.

  6. Alexia Says:

I think the reactions after George's death were realistic. When my mother died I couldn't even cried for weeks and I acted normal at school, because my grief was deeper. Every little things at home or impressions reminded me her and they still do. I'm sure the doctors will talk about George a lot in the next few episodes. Just because they aren't sad all the time, that doesn't mean they forgot him.

About Lexie and Mark, they were kinda cute in this episode and also Cristina and Owen. I loved Owen's face when Cristina called him "Honey" :)

( sorry for my engish )

  7. wyomom Says:

In all honesty, the episodes were alright. They did not live up to my expectations. I really was thinking I was going to cry through these episodes, but i didn't not a drop, they're were some moving moments but in all I think they could've done better.

  8. LongtimeFan Says:

Let me start by saying I was never a fan of T.R. Knight or his depressing, whiny character. So for me George's passing had no negative effect on my view of the episodes. That being said... I viewed last night's episodes as the beginning of the end for Grey's Anatomy. The writing was weak, and it just seemed like 2 hours of same old story, different episode. Creativity was very lacking, and the previews for next week are showing more of the same... A merger with West Mercy, very unoriginal. The only bright spot was Izzie and how she was dealing with her near death experience and the fact that she still has cancer but is just waiting now. I don't see myself sitting through commercials every 8 minutes for this program for the entire season. Sure looks like so long Grey's. You've lost your creativity.

  9. Stephanie Says:

    I totally agree with Daryl!

  10. fifi Says:

Kirsta was true to her word and has given Ellen a lighter work load. We saw Mer sat down a lot. Mer was getting very hot with Der, but it was really only her voice.
