We know filming for Grey's Anatomy is officially underway because Shonda Rhimes herself Tweeted as much. She posted this picture of the lovely Sara Ramirez to prove it!
Shonda also Twittered props to the show's Emmy nominees and said that when Meredith and Derek scenes begin filming, maybe she'll post a picture of it for us! Woo hoo!

Yeah, that's Izzie's bed she's the only person who was admitted there that has purple bed sheets. Wow, greys4ever, you're more obsessed than me, kudos.

You guys are more into the show even than I am. And trust me, that's hard. :) I re watched whole 5th season, and now I'm getting ready to start watching again from the beginning. How sick is that?
At first, I couldn't watch the show when the finale ended (Izzie and George in particular), but now, I think I acknowledged that T.R. is gone and Katherine is coming back, and I'm OK with it. I get the show isn't gonna be the same, but it's Grey's Anatomy, and I'll watch till the end no matter what happens (exception of killing off McDreamy or Mer). :))))
P.S. I want MerDer pics so badly, at least to see if they are gonna shoot her belly, or are they going to show just their faces.

I hate to be a kill joy. But those purple sheets have been used before. They was used in the ep where Brooke Smith opens up the door to the room and tells Yang that she felled to see that her patient was missing. And Karev comes up pushing the patient in a wheel chair. She was the faith healer that laid hands on little Tuck trying to heal him when the bookcase fell on him. Sorry I"m obessed too. LOL!!! I love Grey's!!!!! Can't wait till september 24:)
