T.R. Knight is headed to the Great White Way!
The ex-Grey's Anatomy star, who earlier this month confirmed that he was leaving the ABC drama, has signed on to star in the upcoming Broadway revival of Lend Me a Tenor.
Knight will play the role of Max in the classic farce, which is being directed by Stanley Tucci and is scheduled to open in February 2010. Sounds like a great role for him.
Additional casting will be announced in the coming weeks.
Prior to joining the cast of Lend Me a Tenor, Knight will headline a production of Jason Robert Brown's Tony-winning play Parade at Los Angeles' Mark Taper Forum.
Glad to see T.R. returning to the stage. We wish him the best!

And he continues to make me proud! I'm so happy for him. He's such an amazing actor, and I'm really glad that he's able to star in these productions and show the world how great he is.

I'm so proud of him!
Yes, a drama and a comedy. He's just showing off his amazing range, something TR hasn't let him do all season long.

NY!! Woohoo!!! I'm going to try to get down there to see him! I know he's going to rock Broadway.
Congrats to you, TR! You are so unbelievably talented and I'm happy to know that you have earned these opportunities to show this talent to the world.
I only wish I could make it to LA in the fall...

Yippee!
I come from Toronto, but I'm definitely going to New York this February.
TR in a comedy, finally!
Not that he doesn't do drama well, but seeing him die in everything was starting to depress me.
He's so talented. I hope he keeps getting roles.
I am going to miss him so much on Grey.

I'm so happy for him, but I'm still crying over losing my George.
I never cried over a TV character before, but this is George. Our George.

Can we have our George back?
felt horrible when Kutner from House died few months ago but we didnt get a chance to get attached to his character
But George, he was there since season 1 and now he is leaving the show forever. Cant imagine Grey's Anatomy without 007.
I'm glad he is getting on with his life, but how are we going to manage without George?
