It will be so hard to say goodbye to George O'Malley.
Greatest fictional TV character ever, IMO.
He made us laugh, he made us cry, he made us feel so many things... anger, frustration, confusion, heartbreak, sweet happiness...
TR- you really made him shine and brought him to life and made him a place forever in this fan's heart. Thank you for that!
I wish you the best of luck in your new adventures, TR. I'm sure you will move on to bigger and better and look forward to seeing you there. Whatever it may be, I'm sure it will be phenomenal.

omgggg noooo i m gonna cryy when he is not there next season it is gonna be sooo different and wierdd! great job TR for playing geoge omalley u did a great job u willl be missed very much but u r still in my heart forever in greys anatomy!
he should just come back for the opener and have a funeeral for him which i know would be really sadd but it would be nice to but his character of george omalley to rest!
noooo this is so sad. i love both izzie and george, and even though im so happy that KH/izzie is staying, and even though i kind of assumed this was how it would play out, it still sucks and im really gonna miss him :(

Dammit! The show will so not be the same when one of the Fab 5 is missing. When all of them are together, that's the show I love. Why did they have to kill him? Couldn't they just have let him join the army as he was supposed to and just write him out of the story. They didn't have to kill him :(
I guess it'll probably be a funeral in season 6, and I know I'm gonna cry my freakin eyes out. I already have but that will really be a moment that defines that he'll never come back. I hate Shonda for not giving him a decent storyline. This is all because of his lack of airtime. T.R deserves more than that and I wish him the best in the future.

Forget you T.R.
George was my favorite character. You couldn't suck it up for $125000 an episode? I have been loyal to Grey's from the very beginning; I wish we could say the same for your loyalty to the fans.
At least I don't have to be mad at Shonda anymore, and I can watch Grey's without feeling guilty. You took my favorite character away. I won't be supporting your work in the future.
This is the news I was dreading hearing...a confirmation from T.R. himself. I feel like someone ripped my heart out and stomped all over it.
The show will not be the same without George. I just can't believe he won't be coming back. I will miss him terribly.
I read T.R. Knight is soon going to be in a broadway show so he must be very excited about this new chapter in his life that is just beginning. I wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
i wonder if he will be in the first episode of the sixth season, like to send him off, since we didn't really get a proper goodbye in the season finale. Mabye he will be alive the first part of the episode and then they will have him on life support or something so everyone can say goodbye to him. This is going to be huge for the show, but I believe that Shonda can pull it of and keep the show alive and running without George O'Malley.
hey smileymiley23 i said the llike samee that is weirdd ahaha!
i really hope they do tnhat for my georgie just to put his whole character of george o'malley to rest and not evry1 knows liek on the show like all the characters because some were with izie and some were with george soo half dont kow about george and half dont know that izzie almost diedd

Lisa, no, Shonda took the character away. She's the one who put in all those new characters like Sadie and the interns and gave them every bit of airtime George has. She's the one who gave him 5 seconds an episode. She's the one, according to Aussiello, who made his life hell for two years now because she blamed him for IW's firing.
She's the one who supported the homophobe, not him, who stomped all over Gizzie, who cut George out of the fab 5, who isolated him and then who threw him under a bus when she easily could have let him leave alive to join the army.
SHE, not him, did that.
He waited two years for a story. He never complained publicly like Katherine did.
Yet Katie got an Emmy-worthy story and the whole show revolving around her for her public outburst.
He got nothing.
You're not a fan of him. If you were, you wouldn't want him to stay at a place where he's not respected or loved by his boss, where he can't act, which is his true love.
Shonda is the one who doesn't care about us George fans. She's the one who ignored us when we begged her to give George some airtime, she's the one who killed the Gizzie friendship even though everyone missed it, and she's the one who said she shoved him aside on purpose all season for a cliffhanger. She's the one who knew he was leaving and yet couldn't even give him any airtime or us anytime to say goodbye to him.
Yet TR never said a word against her. That statement didn't have one word of complaining or whining about it.
The other actors would have. Nicolette Sheridan did when she got axed on DH and she was treated a million times better than him, but TR never talks against anyone.
He never even talked against IW.
That's who he is.
And if you think he's about money, you don't know him.
The guy's all about acting. He doesn't care about money.
Not everyone is in it for it.
I wouldn't stay with a boss like Shonda for a million bucks a day.
He's happy. He's back doing theater.
Heck, my heart is breaking and I have been crying for three days over this, but I love TR and want him to be happy.
If you were a real fan, you would too. He gave you five years of amazing work. A lot of actors bail way before that, so be grateful.
Go TR, I'm so going to see him. I live kind of far, but I don't care. I would travel halfway down the world to see him.
They better give George a funeral. He deserves that. This was a crappy end. The whole show should have been devoted to him. She knew he was leaving and she knew that cliffhanger wouldn't last long.
When they do the funeral, I'm done,
I'll tape the premiere. If I hear there's no funeral, I'll erase the episode and never watch Grey again.
Oh T.R thanks for an amazing five seasons and over a hundred episodes! Grey's will never be the same without you.

It's an end if an era, losing one of the original 5. It's a real shame the way the character of George became little more than an extra after been part of the core cast. I have to say Shonda Rhimes's claim that George was sidelined purely so no one would miss him in the finale this adding to the shock reveal that he was John Doe was lame.

I hate you TR... i DON'T wish you well and hope you go and regret this decision the rest of your career.
Grey's Anatomy put you on the map and now your leaving...
I can see why George quit so even though I hate that hes gone, I don't hate him. I don't hate Shonda either though, think about all the great things she did, although killing off George is a BIG mistake, she'll probably lose loads of viewers.
