No one lost George his freaking job. But George himself. You all need to get a life. No one even knew TR Knight before Grey's Anatomy. He was the one that wanted to leave. No one made him. On the other hand Jessica Capshaw was well known before she was hired by Grey's. And any time there is anyone on as a guess star or anything. You all freak!!!! OMG!!! That was time that could have been spent by George. All anyone can talk about is what a raw treatment George got or everyone wishes that Burke would come back. Burke got canned for calling George a fag not once but twice. He should have been fired. He was and arrogant ass. It was George's decision to leave. No one made him leave. I'm still not happy that Brooke Smith got fired but I've learn to joke about it. I know all my bitching and complaining won't bring her back.

Agreed Dimples TR is not loosing his job because of Jessica Capshaw. She was brought in well before the end of the season and the finale cliffhanger and signed a deal possibly become a regular in Feburary. If anything she is directly replacing Brooke Smith as the girl attending and Callie's lesbian love interest.
They might well have promoted her anyway, and for sure kept her on somehow even if George was staying. It sucks but leacing was apparently TRs own choice and nothing to do with Arizona.

They should so have kept George instead of Arizona. Can't believe they pushed him away and had her get getting more airtime than him. He has been there since the very beginning for Gods sake. He has a much bigger part of the show and is as I'm sure much more popular. I can't believe they just wasted him and let Arizona (Owen too) get a bigger part of the show when there's obviously other characters who are suffering from it and is more important to the show and the fans. The Grey's cast has been way too big lately. Maybe the show needs new blood sometimes, but they can at least be a little smarter and try to keep the important characters.
Also, I feel like it's quite the humiliation to Meredith and Derek to say that Callie and Arizona have the same chemistry as them. But hey, everbody has has different opinions. Some people like other couples more. But my opinion is that MerDer have the most amazing chemistry on TV, and for them to be compared to a couple I don't see any chemistry with is just something I don't like.

Once again. It was TR Knight's OWN decision to leave. I really, really wish he wasn't but can people please stop blaming every other character for getting more screentime than him? Yes shonda treated him very badly but he didn't get any more screentime when Arizona wasn't there so clearly she has nothing directly to do with his lack of screentime or the fact that they have let him go. In fact in the episodes where George had most of his screentime this season were episodes were AZ also had a lot, so one is not proportionate to the other.

The new "mer/der"??? PLEASE, not even close. I like Jessica Capshaw but they make her too silly as Arizona. I don't like the way they presented the Calzona relationship...too fast. I love Callie but don't like when they make her all "cutesy" w/Arizona. They don't seem to do that to her when she's w/Mark. As long as she doesn't steal time from the "Fab-Five, oops, Four.
I LOVE, LOVE Sara Ramirez, I love her character Callie with all my heart. Her talent and acting abilities are outstanding.
I'm just SOoo sorry about the way her storyline is going.
I like Capshaw, and her character is hilarious and spunky.
I'm happy she is a regular,but I just can't wrap my mind around this storyline. (sorry Shonda)

I like Arizona but I do NOT care to see her with Callie. They should have written Callie off of the show instead of George. It's not going to be the same without him and everytime I have to see Callie I lose interest immediately.
I do like Arizona and although I prefer Callie with Mark I don't mind her too much with Callie. Way better IMHO that Hahn. That I DID NOT like. I didn't like Hahn at all, too mean, callous and not really a good fit for Callie. I am still pulling for Callie and Mark to get together at some point, I think they are GREAT together and have wonderful chemistry. ALthough Calzona are ok, they are NOT Mer/Der chemistry. No way! Maybe Shonda is seeing things in the future in her head, because she knows where they are going, but for now I don't see it.

If Callie can't be with Erica then please put her with Mark. Of course this is Shondaland and we know that relationships never stay together for very long there! I so loved Dr Hahn and still do. There was something about her that needed to be explored to see where her anger came from. Dr Hahn had layers that needed to be peeled back. No matter what ya think about her. I think beneith her layers laid a heart of gold. I could see her pain the last ep she was in when she went to the chief about the guy that lost the heart to Denny. She hurt for her patient. The ep where Callie was freezing the patient to help his back and Callie freaked out and Hahn come in and calmed her down. I thought that was a great ep. I love Dr Hahn and also loved Dr Kate Switzer. Brooke Smith is a class act. I am also loving Callie and AZ. I think that AZ is a good addition to the cast. And she seems to be good for Callie. I know I've said it over and over. But me being a lesbian I wanna see something on tv that I can relate to. And most of the time I get to see maybe 5 minutes of Callie and AZ's interactions and ep. And that is ok. I understand the cast is very large. I have been watching this show since S2 and loved it. So it isn't just because of the lesbian content that I watch. It is a very interesting show that speaks to alot of people in alot of different ways.

I think this news is the best thing ive heard all day.
As for the george fans, puh-lease people. Arizona didn't replace George, he wasn't getting much screen time before she came, and she was in talks to become a series regular before TR decided what he wanted to do. Bitterness only spurns the heart.
I love Jessica and think she will be a wonderful addition to the show. :)
