It doesn't for me. I used to be a huge Izzie fan. She and George made my world turned. I was so in love with Gizzie. Their love was so magic to me. It still is. Then Izzie just dropped George like some potato bag and moved on to a so-called hotter guy who never got her or loved her half as much as George did.
She broke George's marriage up, then she dumped him. It was obvipous to me George was truly in love with her and never forgot her, but she forgot he was even her friend.
She treated him like a second-rate stranger.
It makes me sick.
Katie's diva antics to get a big story and the Izzie anatomy that followed, coupled with Lexzie, the worst couple on TV,. has made me hate her.
I wanted George to stay. He's the one I watch for, not Izzie.
If this is true, I'm done for good.

They can recast Burke, but I never want to see this disgusting jerk again, especially since I strongly suspect Shonda shoved TR out to make IW happy.
TR is a class-act, and he didn't deserve to get shoved aside because Shonda's best friend had to be fired for being an ass.
George was my McDreamy, my McSteamy and my prince charming all rolled into one.
I'll never forgive Shonda for making George vanish all season for a cliffhanger that has already been ruined.

but i'm getting tired of all those George fans who say "I will stop watching". then stop, and don't complain about everything!
and for the record i personally didn't like Gizzie, it was unrealistic. first of all he was truly in love with meredith since episode one. then came callie, now he was truly in love with her, and suddenly he was truly in love with izzie. sorry but that doesn't sound realistic to me.
and for all who say that they can see that george and izzie are still in love because of the way they look or talk, i have to say: this is just a tv series. it's not real. get this people.

OMG I agree with all of you who feel cheated by this whole George thing!! Its so unfair. I feel like we have all grown to love George, he's so relatable and so lovable, and I think that TR and all the fans were completely cheated. If those last 5 minutes of the finale were the last we see of the alive George O'Malley I will be so angry. He deserves a honable ending. Yes the military outfit was very honerable but he needs to leave us peacefully, with us knowing that he IS okay and that his death was for the better.

Shonda may have killed gizzie and george, but she also CREATED them, you wouldn't have TR if it wasn't for her and Katherine wouldn't be famous. So honestly if everyones upset this much about him, and you don't wanna watch, then don't. If there is absolutely "no way" any of you will get over it, then don't. Go be angry, go hate shonda, and go and stop watching the show.
And ill continue to watch it because i didn't feel like George was the heart of the show, and i will continue to watch it because i think Izzie and Alex make a much better couple then Gizzie, and i will enjoy the season premiere whether the ratings go down or not, and if this is the last season then i will cherish it. I don't think I ever heard TR complaining of George's storylines... if he did say it, then I apologize, but since I don't think he did, he must have had enough of Grey's and we don't know if Shonda will kill him off or send him to war... it's not sept 24th yet. We can't say. We do know he won't be there, but we do not know how he'll be written out, so let's not jump to conclusions.

What do you love about AI? That she never seemed to be in love with him, that she had better sex with both George and Denny (she both called them the best sex of her life, but never said it to Alex), that she said a corpse was better than him, that he called her a bitch and yelled in dying face to shut up, that he yelled at her while she was and told her he wanted to smother her with a pillow. That he is either abusive with her or a cheesy wimpy baby lapdog with her. That she never looks at him like she did Denny and George. That George, not Alex got through to her in the finale. That George not Alex knew she was ill even though Alex had spent 10 times more times with her.
George's the heart of this show, and Grey is worth nothing without him.

some of us miss burke's character and its our opinion. you may say that bringing burke back is not moving forward but it could add some spice to the relationship between cristina and owen and not to mention provide a perfect replacement for hahn. we don't deserve to get bashed up online for stating our opinions. and we are different individuals posting here. not spamming. stop assuming just because you hate the character. we are also not condoning Isaiah's actions. we never knew what happened behind the scenes.
that said.. i agree that right now it is kind of impossible to imagine the show without george since he was an integral part of the show. a gapping hole will be there for sure but lets at least see how that hole will be filled.

I am so very dissapointed that T.R. is leaving the show. George has always been my favorite character.
I was hoping that they at least go with the leaving for the military thing. I'd have certainly prefered that to killing him off at the end. It actually really ticks me that they are going the dead route and completely burning that bridge.
Not sure If I'll continue to watch now.
