Anyway, i think everyone should just be a little rational about this. I was upset when they fired brooke, and said id never watch it again, but then jessica cam eand i found that i actually liked her character and that the show was getting better. Im just saying before everyone swears off the show forever, at least make an attempt to see if you like the show after he's gone. I mean most people do have to leave at some point, everyone can be angry about it, but i say cherish the fact that he was here for 5 seasons insted of 2...ya know?

No, we got 3 seasons. George all but vanished the last two and then she killed him and gave us two scenes to deal with it. I didn't even know he was John Doe so I ended up missing all his last scenes just so she could have a cheap thrill.
If George hadn't been all alone and miserable all season, if we had actually seen him, it would be different.
You don't get it either, do you? We know what the show is without George.
When he had about 6 minutes the whole season, we had every single chance to find out.
Brooke had story until the very last episode. George didn,t, so I know what the show is without him.
That's the problem. I hated it without him, and I feel screwed over. Completely and totally.

That's really unfortunate for the show. Loosing a character with as large a following as George has is a certain forshadowing of the show's demise on the horizon. They're going to lose a lot of viewers over this.

Those who telling us that we don't under stand we competely under stand its just some actors or actress been on the show long enough that they are ready to move on and do other things I know its sad that T.R. Knight is leaving the show but that doesn't mean that we have to stop watching the show just because one major actor is done and i am sure that shondra did not want to let George go but it was up to him and the writers to and we don't know what they all talk about. But he did want off this contract anyways and i like george i thought he was really good at playing a doctor and i love the Friend ship between Him and Izzie and we know that it is not going to be easy for Katie either cause she wont have her best Friend their on the show anymore and its going to be hard for Izzie to deal with that i am not going to bash any of the actors they are all great and i am still going to watch the show even through T.R.knight is going to be gone the other cast has a lot more storys to deal with i am a huge Izzie and Alex fan i would love to see there story go far but i will miss T.R.Knight and George and i wish him the best of luck at what ever he does and he will always be know as Dr. George omally

I'm happy TR is happy but this news makes me so sad. George dying is so awful.
I haven't loved Grey in a long while, and losing my favorite character just is the last straw for me.
Seriously anyone who's threatening to not watch the show, you watched it last season and George had maybe one scene at the most an episode. Second of all someone mentioned about the rating being down because of TR getting less screen time this past season, that's not true at all. This past season since around February ratings have been at their highest, so check to make your source is a reliable one. As much as I loved George as a character and TR Knight as an actor, Grey's will go on without him. If we lose Ellen then we'll have a problem.

I think its easier also to not be as botherd because he really was missing a lot this season.. which i hated all year but how can they just let his character die like that. I mean going to the army was at least honorable for him to leave the show... but getting hit by a bus?? what the heck!! its so sad.. and his really was my favorite character besides izzie, if she leaves im writting ms. rhimes a letter! Kathrine and T.R. are best friends in real life and she may go on with him to persue movies more.. we will see i love them both.. their characters were great.

I'm not saying the way shonda went about it is appropriate and im not even saying that i think he should go. Actually no. Grey went down this year. They never even reached 18 millions except for the premiere, which they did in season 4. Grey at its highest in what word? They had 13 millions ratings twice, which was the lowest ratings this show ever got.
In fact there were many articles about why the ratings were so bad.
The big 100 episode didn't even get 16 millions.
In the days of Gizzie, the show got 19 to 21 millions, which was way higher.
The finale was the lowest finale in Grey's history. They had 16,5 million, which was down 3 millions from last season finale and down 2 millions from the premiere.
How is that good ratings? Thank God for them CSI went even more down having lost three actors, which is something that probably will happen next year when many George fans quit.
I know I'm not watching.
I don't usually watch a show for one actor, but I do for George.
For the record, I watched only about half the episodes. Several people here have said they missed many episodes because of the lack of George so not sure where you get off with youur you watched all the episodes.
I watched the episode when I saw George in the previews or he was shown in the medianet photos and I missed the rest.
Those ratings have been going down every season. Even the big wedding couldn't get them up.
You might not face it, but it's true, and this will hurt the show big time.
I'd much rather Izzie die and go do her big movies. Izzie is so overplayed. George is not at all.
Bad choice, and killing George that way. That makes me so angry. Just that is enough to make me quit.

That's why I'm stopping watching the show. Hate and bitterness are not good, and that's all I have for the show right now.
I use to watch all the time, and this year I missed several episodes without even caring.
I just got too angry at George getting one scene.
The ratings haven't gone up. I guess you got confused because they beat CSI, but CSI was down like 38% or something because of their lead actor leaving.
Anybody could have beaten it. It might even sink to third on Thursday nights.
Grey was still down like 13 to 16%.
That was with all their actors.
They had like like 20 millions ratings two years back, and more than 17 millions last year. This year, they got between 13 and 15 for 90% of their episodes.
People are losing interest and the way she treated George the last two seasons isn't going to gain her any new fans.

I am tired of Everybody saying that they want Izzie to Die she is not that bad she is my favorite and she and Alex are the only reason why i watch the show. I like T.R. Knight to but just because he is leaving does not mean that i am going to stop watching the show i mean come on he wanted out of his contract anyways and you can't blame anyone for it except for T.R.knights Him self and some times actors need to venture on to other things and he was not getting a lot of screen time anyways that is the way Hollywood works and that is the Tv works to but can't stop him from leaving and doing his own thing it is up to him and we just all have to support him on what ever he plans on doing. Izzie would have a great story line to being a cancer servior if their are patents that have what she had then she knows what they are going through to cause she was a cancer patent her self so she does have a great story line and her being with Alex is also a great story line as well i don't want T.R. knight to go either but he got to do what he has to do I love the friend ship between Izzie and George have now that he is leaving its going to be hard on Izzie so i don't know why people keep bashing the show and the characters its not their fault its T.R.
