I watched about 5 or 6 episodes this season and the 4 last ones were just so I could see him and say goodbye.
I like other characters, but he's the only one I love enough to watch for.
I fell in love with George at first sight, or first smile to be more accurate. That smile got me right in the heart.
no offense to george lovers, but i'm sick of him. i used to like his charecter, but ever since season 4 he has annoyed me. i didn't miss him when they didn't show him this year and i won't miss him when he's gone. whose with me, kill george and save izzie!

In fact Shonda has tried very hard to fill the George's void with Alex, Lexie and Cristina and it doesn't work.

George is Izzie's best friend, one of Mer's dearest friend, the opposite of Alex, I love their scenes, and Bailey's baby. He's the heart and soul of this show.
He's the bright and shiny. He's the guy who makes us laugh. He's the guy we all root for to be happy. He's the guy who brings humanity to this show.
As for romance, well, they have a built-in girlfriend for him with the girl he saved, didn't he?
We found out this year he is a extra-talented surgeon.
His recovery story would be a first and a great emotional story.
Everyone in this hospital loves George so to see him help him get better would bring much-needed heart to this show that has been sorely lacking without George.
Make no mistake. There is one George and he's essential to this show.
As much as I love Gizzie, Izzie brings nothing to me outside of her relationship and friendship with George.

You know a while back they were looking for a mixed race actor? Maybe thats George but with darker skin from the injuries...

TR needs to stay, and George can't die.

I'm a huge Gizzie fan. They'll always be my favorite couple.
That said, I would much rather Izzie die than George.
She had more than enough stories. Time for George to have some.
I love George more than ever. We might not have seen him much this season, but the little we saw was amazing.
George was so funny and sweet.
He also showed what a kick-butt doctor he is. Not to mention a hero.
Any guy who can gently tease Bailey one minute then take a bus for a complete stranger the next is A+ in my book.
He's funny as hell, he's sweet, he's gorgeous and he's a downright hero.
He also makes every scene he's in ten times better just by showing up.
So who's with me? SAVE GEORGE! IZZIE, I DON'T CARE IF SHE LIVES OR DIES.

Yeah I'm a Gizzie fan but I know many people who aren't Gizzie fans who really love George.
I know Alex and Izzie fans who adore George and want him to stay.
Would I love Gizzie back together? Heck yeah. But I love George more than I love Gizzie.
I love George alone, with Izzie, or with someone else. I don't care. As long as I can see him.
I don't watch Grey for romances. I watch it for the friendships, including the GI one, and I watch it for the characters.
George makes me smile. It is as simple as that.
Every single time I see that cute face, I just feel better.
I haven't found one character who can make me feel this way in more than 30 years of TV watching.
That makes George very useful to me and very special.
