I got to say that MerDer better get married this season because if they don't TPTB at ABC and Shonda, run the risk of MerDer fans not coming back to watch next season. They had hyped MerDer wedding so much that if they don't deliver there is going to be a riot. I mean can MerDer get married in peace without any drama. MerDer are always the last one to do everything, can they for once be the first ones on GA to get married, for the sake of being happy. George got married because his dad die, Christina almost got married because Burke force her. Izzie and Alex are probably getting married because she might died. The only ones who are genuinely happy and ready and they really want to get married are MerDer, but no they won't get married.
I never thought that MerDer were going to get married on the 100th episode.Form the moment I heard Meredith telling Derek that she is letting Izzie help with the wedding, I knew that Izzie was going to take over, and be selfish like always. How selfish can a person get, is not Izzie wedding and she is making it all about her. Not even on her death bed Izzie has stop being selfish.Can Izzie just for once respect some one else wishes. I used to like Izzie but then she became annoying.

Everybody keeps saying Mer NEEDS her happy ending... I beg to differ...We all have seen her growth, we all have seen how real is her relationship with Der, we all have seen her NOT freak out when he proposed... I really really really want to see those two getting married, I really do. But as Mer said, this is Izzy´s wedding, Izzy´s dream wedding, Izzy's most important day. Not hers... She will have HER dream wedding... a small one, no big dress, no churchy church, and not because she NEEDS it... But because it is the next step. It´s what she wants. Not what she needs... Saying she NEEDS this is like saying she hasn´t grown at all, imo....

oh...Mia, unfortunately I think you hit the nail on the head...It is Izzie's "dream" wedding and there was another guy who proposed to her first. I do believe that Dead Denny comes back to claim his bride and we have seen the last of Izzie. I noticed Alex is crying in one of the promos---If Izzie dies and George goes off to war, the show is pretty much ruined for me. It was at its peak with the development of the 5 main characters---and as much as I love the addition of Lexie, McSteamy, Addison, Owen and Callie, I will be completely heartbroken to see any one of the Big 5 from Season 1 leave. Each of them contributes to the group dynamic and none of them will be as good if one of them leaves---
It was hard enough to recover from the loss of Burke. Shonda seems to like the dark side better than satisfying the cravings of all of her fans!!
i disagree, i think that George has wore out his time here. he is very different from season 1 and not in a good way like Mer. maybe it is just a grudge i have against george but i think the show would be better without him. but we need the Happy-go-lucky Izzie and if we cannot have her i think she should leave but i really want her to stay!!!!

Im so glad they brought Denny back for the 100th episode. He is so fun to watch. I think in a perfect Seattle Grace world, Denny would have lived and Izzy would have married him. I don't really think Iz and Alex are a good match so I'm not counting on them to get hitched tonight. Im sitting on the fence with the MerDer wedding, firstly it'd be great as Meridith needs that closure that she's practically waited since the beginning for, but secondly i think the two being married would run the show a little dry. I think there will be some huge emergency that will stall the wedding with a crazy 'to be continued' ending.
