I don't think the one leaving is George because at the season finale George's storyline had a lot of potential, there is a lot of thing they could do with George now, I will be extremely disappointed if George dies.
Now Izzie she can died I truely do not care about her character anymore.

the show has been going downhill since Isaiah Washington left. deal with it. theres no need for over reaction. TR is nothing without Grey's Anatomy, so is Heigl. put your personal bullshit aside, let the writers write the storyline. the writers let the fan influence their work so much that they care so much about the feeling of the fans, rather than whats good for the show. enjoy the show, if cant, dont watch it.

Even during episode 24 once we knew who John Doe was,George played 2nd string to what was happening to Iz, even when he was 'dying'. Sounds like TR and Shonda have had a complete breakdown of their working relationship, not at all good for the show. I think Iz will experience a remission with her cancer, for a while anyway.

I think we need to wait and see. Seems like a lot of TR's lack of screen time had to do with us not missing him in the finale-not realizing that he wasn't there until they figured out John DOe was him. IN any case, maybe TR is leaving, and that would be sad for sure, but I don't think we can trust anything spoiler ppl report on just yet. I have a feeling Shonda lets exactly what she wants leaked to maintain speculation and boards like this, but I bet she'd have someone's job (at least) before anything she didn't approve got out. I can't imagine they will kill both of them-it's too much-fans will freak out. Good chance one will die, but not both...
to all those who are thinking that this spoiler could not be true i would think again. Don't get me wrong, i love george(trk)and izzie(kh) but in ga history, when a doctor says were losing him, it means that their bp is dropping quickly or that they're about to flatline.Plus if you remember merediths afterlife, the bomb guy fulfilled his mission and wasn't stuck, now denny isn't stuck because he fulfilled his mission by getting izzie to figure out what was wrong with her, so my theory is that george gets to go to the other side because he fulfilled his mission by saving that woman, but izzies mission isn't complete.she cant leave alex because that would break him.us she has to fight because shes not done yet.
mcdreamteam-- they had more than "lost" mer and brought her back... granted there was hypothermia involved which made it possible for her to be gone so long and then come back and make a full recovery, but she had long since been flatlined. We didn't even see George flatline... and IMO his story is not finished. His story was just starting up again... all good signs that it is very possible he will live on...
And I agree somewhat with TDS, in that if there IS any truth in the rumors that TRK wants to leave... they don't have to kill George. Have him survive. Have the SGH team do their best surgeries on him and then have him have to go off to some state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility... at very least. Then that leaves the door open for him to come back.
However, I still hold w/ my original opinion that if you kill one or the other, kill them both off and have my George and my Izzie at peace in heaven together.
But, above all, I want them to live. To continue on. Their stories are not done, IMO-- either of them-- there is much more to tell. And TR is so extremely talented... the loss of TR would be devastating to the show.
I still refuse to believe George will die and TRK is leaving, until I hear it from a direct VIABLE source.

He was never on screen or had a real storyline until the last three episodes, so how much difference would it make next season when he's officially dead? It's not like we saw much of him in season 5, and think about how much great material his death will proved the already enormous cast.

Just a few things here:
I know it's an ensemble cast, but the heart and soul of Grey's Anatomy is, and always will be, it's namesake: Meredith Grey. To lose a member of the Fab 5 would be awful, but we're at that reality now. And believe me, Grey's can continue without George or Izzie. It won't be the same, but it can and will go on.
Petitions don't work.
STOP blaming this all on Isaiah Washington! He was kicked off the show a long time ago. This has nothing to do with him. If things deteriorated between T.R. and Shonda within the last year, then it's no one's fault but theirs.
Please stop complaining about how the writers should listen to the fans. The writers don't owe us anything. It's our choice whether or not to watch. I almost stopped watching at the end of Season 3 when, in my opinion, the show was losing sight of it's identity; but if the writers and creators take the show in a new direction, even if it seems wrong, we can't do anything about it. They are not entitled to give us anything. Stop watching if you want. But don't expect the writers to hand you a tissue and apologize.
They're not going to let T.R. go and hire another actor to play George with a new face. Come on. Won't happen. This isn't a soap opera, it's a prime-time drama... sometimes they seem like the same thing, but there is a major difference called QUALITY (ghost-Denny aside). Besides, didn't you see T.R.'s eyes burning through that disfigured face? You can't recast that.
Anyway, it's time to face facts: George will probably die, and Izzie might too. Oh well. In my opinion, their characters haven't been right since Season 3 anyway... the writers managed to recapture some of Izzie's essence but George never got the chance because of things that happened between people behind the scenes, resulting in less screen time for him. Look at it this way... maybe the divas are getting what they want. Ellen Pompeo, Sandra Oh, and many of the other great actors turn in wonderful performances week after week and don't complain about anything. I'd rather watch them.
We all have to wait and see, and we can hold out hope... but if I were a betting woman, I'd say one of them will die, and my money's on George. Too bad.

I can,t believe she took away our last moments with him, our last year with him, because she is a witch who blames him for being IW's victim.
