After George and Izzie's friendship, Alex and Mer is my favorite. I am glad they are showing it again, now when do we get to see some George and Izzie scenes? It seems they are showing EVERY friendship except theirs, and the GI friendship is the best.

I agree, Simmard. We need Gizzie's friendship scenes. I don't get why we are NOT getting them.
Is Shonda trying to make us forget them even as friends?
I am getting very tired of waiting week after week for any crumb Shonda wants to give us.
Izzie is sick. Why isn't she letting George and Izzie be best friends again?
Izzie is getting one-on-one with every single character but George. ENOUGH!

Sloane seems to have amnesia with regard to Der's failed marriage and his invovlement in its downfall. But would Der have gone to SGH if Ad hadn't commited adultery, and would he have been interested in Meredith? So Sloane did Der a favour, cos Meredith is the love of Der's life. Der himself said so
I also love Alex's friendship with Meredith. If Izzie does die, I think that Mer will be there for him.

jude - you're right! if mark had never slept with addison, derek would've never moved to seattle, and therefore never have met meredith. so he should thank mark, it's thanks to him derek has found the love of his life

i just say justin aka alex on good morning america, and he said its not him and izzie getting married.
if you look on the ausiello files it says that someone else gets married and merder tie the knot in the finale

Mark is hilarious. Best man for a third time? I don't think Derek would go there for the third time. Funny that comes in the middle of surgery. Shouldn't Mer be concentrating? LOL.
Yeah, bummer that MerDer aren't getting married but thank God that it's not going to be Izzie's extravaganza wedding. At least Ausiello did say that it's going to be in the finale (or at least it was implied)...or maybe baby? :P
@ jude - I don't know about that. I believe that it just accelerated the process. Derek and Addie's marriage was in a bad shape before Addie slept with Mark. Even if it wasn't Mark, it would've been someone or something else. From what we've seen, Derek was just looking for an excuse to get out of that marriage. And that's what Mark just did. I think that Derek would've ended up in Seattle one way or the other.
Besides, Derek's official excuse for leaving NYC was the SGH job offer.

anuflas- yeah Derek's overall excuse was the job offer, but do you really think that he would have taken it? i mean to pick up and leave everything and Addie still would have worked in NY. its complicated either way
Samantha, I really don't know. I'd like to believe that Derek didn't take the decision of moving away from NYC where he had a life (friends, his own practice, etc) and move thousands of miles away to a new city so lightly.
I think that Derek was ready for a change and he, either didn't see it or didn't want to aknowledge it, and Addie cheating with Mark made him see it. He wanted an out and that's just what he got at the cost of his life in NYC.
