OMG you know how Shondra pitchs the last episode. You hear Callie yelling for "where's Hunt???" Remember the first episode this year, where Meredith was dreaming that Derek was hurt and they lost him on the table. What is Owen isn't there because he got into an accident (not that he dies) but all of a sudden he come into the ER from an ambulance and Meredith has to console Christina, like Christina and the Chief tried to console Meredith in the dream. Kind of a flip like the season with Izzie and the dress and then the season ends with Christina and the dress. What do you think?
I don't think Owen is reenlisting. It doesn't seem plausible. I do think his mother coming is a good possiblity... or maybe he is going to undergo surgery....
Or maybe it's something that we would never think of... a true surprise!

I don't know whats going to happen but I really can't wait to find out!!!!I was thinking it wasn't going to be another pregnancy because they have already done that! but maybe Owen proposes or something OMG I would LOVE that!! Owen and Cristina are soul mates thats for sure! I want them to be together soooo much! I guess we will see what happens tonight! :D

It has to be from outside sources as McKidd said neither character sees it coming. I can't imagine an accident being in any way a good thing. Burke won't come back without a different actor so that's unlikely - unless he is never seen. (perhaps calls her or something). His mother having something to do with it has a lot of merit.

What if Owen makes an error in the ER and Cristina corrects it. That would be bad and good and reasonably cause him to re-evaluate his position at Seattle Grace. But of course he did say mistakes are how you learn...

well it cant be owen or george goin to the army becuz thats just plain nonsense. if george leaves, maybe isaiah washington will com back as burke. some freak accident or pregnancy cant happen to cristina, but its too obvious if an accident happens to owen. there must be an outsider that comes. there were enough scenes of parents of these surgeons this season, so maybe the owen's mom thing will happen. callie's dad, derrick's mom, mere and lexie's dad, izzie's mom, so maybe that's a mini theme for this season: parents.
also what will happen now that "the karevs" are married? what news to hear for any parent that wasn't invited??!! who knos? mayb alex's mom will show up.
i think these thoughts are very sensible.

I hope he doesn't come back, it would only complicate Cristina's life even more, and I think she has enough in her plate already. Although I have no doubt she would stay with Owen. After seeing the deep of her relationship with Hunt I'm starting to think she wasn't really in love with Burke, not like this anyway.
About the curveball, I'm really intriged! But I don't think we should search for really strange ideas, it could be something very simple, like Owen deciding to live the hospital because seeing Cristina everyday it's making it imposible for him to left her off the hook, like we have seen in this episode.
The press release for episode 5x23 said a patience will make Owen reassemble his position in the hospital, maybe it's talking about the patience in episode 5x22? The boy who tells Cristina and Owen the story about the girl he loved and how he left her because he thought it was the best for her, but at the end he couldn't forget her...
But maybe it's something like Owen loosing a patient, and he starts to think he was good in the field but not in a hospital and he wants a change? And/or if his mother arrives maybe he decides to leave with her...

I read on E! that Owen´s mom will be on next weeks episode (it´s the old lady from everwood who plays his mom).
I guess that his mom showing up will somehow make him feel that he has to go back to Irak (don´t know how he could, ´cause he was fired... maybe the army needs him for something special so they call him back) and that way when he goes with george to the enlisting office we´ll wonder who´s living... So, when Cristina hears he might leave, she softens up a bit and kisses him like we can see on next week´s preview.
Last weeks hands touching moments were soooo sad and sweet!!! I´m glad we´ll see owen and cristina kissing next week :)
