"No Good at Saying Sorry" was a powerful episode of Grey's Anatomy that left us feeling sad and a bit overwhelmed, yet touched with hope. The whole cast - Sandra Oh and James Pickens, Jr. in particular - were terrific and reminded us just what makes the show so good.
Owen can't bring himself to tell Cristina the three words he really feels, so his coping mechanism was to sub in meaningless pleasantries. That went over about as well as Richard's attempt to let himself off the hook when it comes to Meredith and the impact he had on her.
Elsewhere, Izzie's mom came to town at Bailey's behest, but Izzie really needed to protect herself from her. Inspired by a patient, Callie refused to lie to her family about her lesbianism.
And is Mark Sloan becoming a respectable human being before our eyes?

ok, so i slowed down the dvr preview of next week and it has to be alex and izzie getting married because the person christina is smiling at does not have derek's jaw line... at least i dont think it is, and im not trying to see alex cause i really want it to be mer and derek - maybe theyll have a shotgun wedding later in the ep

Guys, it's like Richard is Meredith's father. She accepted his apologies, crying, just like Lexie did when Tatcher apologised to her. There's something that binds the two of them.
Amazing episode, BTW.

I honestly think it might be alex and izzie cause it looks like derek is sitting on the benhces behind baily.. but has anyone heard anymore news on izzie leaving?

@MerDerEngaged - I still wonder if eventually we will find out that the Chief really is Mer's father....

Great MerRichard scenes!Almost everybody prefer Richard than Tatcher (exception for his daughters)
May be Tatcher and Richard will fight and Tatcher will hit his daughter Meredith which will cause Mer's abortion.

All I can say is I love the writers of this show, I adore Sandra Oh and Kevin McKidd, and I hope with all my heart a couple of Emmys will travel to their homes this year. :)
