Poor George, I can't believe this! The scene where Meredith runs screaming 'It's George', and the soundtrack, were just heartbreaking. What's that song called, by the way!?

Just watched the Finale and as I said: Huge cliffhanger. But basically we don't know if both are alive or dead. But I still stick to what I said: One of 'em probably has to go.
But there's still the option of both of them ending up alive.
So guys, chill.
And I'll keep watching Greys even if Shonda decides to let them both go because it's an amazing TV show and there are other characters that are equally interesting.
Anyway, finale was awesome ( that's the word I use^^)...moving and full of tension, with it's funny moments.
Hopefully they can live up to the quality of recent episodes in Season 6.
Now enjoy the summer :) There's always the DVD's

Part 3 Last of recap
Callie tells bailey and the others that she is going to grab George when he's off from work for an intervention on not going to war.
Hahn asks Christina to try to make it work with him again. She doesn't know what to do but does tell him she loves him.
The guy hit by bus is still touch and go if he will make it, he keeps flat lining and being brought back. the girl he saves is hanging around by his bed worring.
Meredith tell christina she's going to city hall and christina gives her a note pad and pen and an old list of food to get the pad is new both pad & pen blue.
later she and derek decide not to go the city hall, Meredith saying there will never be time (meaning all the stuff going on right then) so derek says they make own vows,writen on the blue pad.
Callie finds Bailey and tells her she can't find george even thought he should be off work now. Richard overhears and says he told George to go home and spend time with his mom and family since he was leaving the next day.
Meanwhile Christina checks on Izzie and Izzie still a bit ticked off tells her how Alex (not in room at moment) doesn't want to be married to her and about the pillow comment. Christina looks around asks where the Q-card is she 's reading. Not one. she remembers! Christina runs to find Alex. On the way finds Hahns and says 'yes' ( she wants to work it out with him) finds Alex and tells him.
Bus guy starts getting weak again while Meredith is in the room. she's preping him when he grabs her again and tried to write in her hand.
Alex and Izzie reunite, sweet talk and hug.
Bus guy is scribbling in hand OO and of course know by now (gasp, NO!) 7 Meredith freaks out running down hall calling everyone.
while Alex and Izzie hug something happens and she flat lines.
Both go into surgery at at the same time. Alex cring, George flat lining and Izzie not coming out of it.
Next we see Izzie in prom dress she wore when Denny died getting into an elevater. inside she waits and when the doors open there is standing George in full army uniform with ribbon pins, hat and all. they see each other and smile

I can not believe the finale. I will say that was an awesome twist. However if George and Izzie, aka, TR and Katherine don't come back next season I don't think I can enjoy GA anymore. I amnot one wholikes big change.
Even though I did not condone Isaiah Washington's comments about TR, when Burke left, the show has not been back to it's former glory days. If TR/Katherine leave, I may have to stop watching.
I know many people have been giving them grief, especially Katherine Heigl, that poor girl has been seriously dragged through the mud. I hear people complaine, "Don't bite off the hand that feeds you", and calling them ungrateful divas, but come on, you all don't know the real story behind the scenes. Maybe they want to move on to different things. KH even said she wants to stay on GA. And she has a thriving movie career and still wants to stay. I hope at least she does. I have a feeling Izzie will live and George will die. It was a shocking finale, but I am still left meloncholy

really I don't see them taking off George or Izzie i mean you can't take the love Between George and Izzie away they are Best Friends and i Don't think Izzie would ever be able to handle the fact that Her Friend is done. And you really can't take the love that Izzie has for Alex and the realtion ship that they have and the married life that they share its really great. If you take them off what would be the point of the show people would be really tired of seeing the show be based on Mer and derek all the time and it would not be Grey's Anatomy with out them so their would be no point in taking them off cause you just can't take away a friend ship and you can't take away a beautfull married that Izzie and Alex both share I think Izzie will live and i think George will to cause you can not break what they have up you just can't and the show would not be the same with out them, So you must Keep them on the show

2nd part
George tells Bailey first about joining army and leaving the next day! She freaks out and yells after hahn thinking he said something to him and everyone else finds out.
Hahn tell cristina he's feeling better (slept the last night with no nightmares)
Bailey is scrubing in and richard asks her what's the matter, why she doesn't want that internship thingy. and she says her husband says he will divorce her if she signs up cuz she will be at home less, Izzie is repeating every 30 seconds and george is off joining the army. she starts to cry saying she going to stay with surgery and leave her husband cuz she doesn't want to stay with him if he tells her stuff like that. Richard tells her to think it over first and stands with her as she pulls her self together.
A new trama comes in with a girl barly hurt and a guy really, really banged up. she was crossing the street and a bus was coming, the guy pushed her out of the way of the bus adn got hit himself. The greys gang try to work on him. he can't talk, his face, well sorta smashed. he lightly grabs merediths arm and scribbles in her hand. she hands him paper but he can't write, arm, fingers not strong. A good part of his other arm seems gone or really bad shape. she brushes it off telling him to try later when he's stronger.
Meanwhile alex gets mad cuz he doesn't know what to do with Izzie and she tells him sorry go ahead and get it off your chest i woun't remember, he does saying stuff like he doesn't know if he should just smother her with a pillow or pump her with morphin either way it's not a life. after his rant he waits a moment and asks " You forget yet?" and she, looking a little peeved off says" nope, give me a minute."

What a final episode........When she screamed I was like WTF?! and I got mad that they didnt continue it, then When Izzy was on her way out I started to tear up, then they showed Merideth screaming "its george" i started balling....

quick as i can of recaps for those asking Sorry in advance i know i'll forget something and mispell:
starts off with dereck saying he knows a way to take Izzie's tumer out, the black head of cancer lady (don't know her name) wants Izzie to wait and try treatments saying she has someone that treatments are working for. Izzie's flip flops on what to do based on getting told different things from everyone, when she asks George what she should do he tells her she already knows; she had decided to fight it from the start she's a 'do-er' so she decides for the tumer to be removed. and wants a DNR.
Bailey mean while plays with new robot equipment that the chief gets to woo bailey back to surgery, she gets that internship thing she wants to do child helping ( not going to try and spell it) but turns it down we are not sure why yet.
Izzie comes out of surgery but has short term memory relaps every 30 or 40 seconds or so.
Cristina asks hahn if he's seen his mom yet. he hasn't. and how theropy is going.
Sloan thinks about getting his own place and wants lexie to move in with him asks her and she replys something like "oh, yeah love to see the place."
george, callie and hahn work on a guy back from war who wants them to cut off his leg so he can relist( he feels pain in it want fake leg so can get back asap)he talks about how his troop are family and that's all he's got, how it makes him feel. So he gets what he wants in the end after talk of is he crazy why does he want to go back and leg taken off.
hahn thinks he wants to go back into war and tells Christina, she's not happy. and later tells him she doesn't want him to die.
Cristina sees that meredith has changed from going to theropy and Meredith tells Derek she wants to marry 'now' that day cuz she loves him and all that stuff. They plan to go to city hall to wed.
Alex meanwhils is getting burnt out telling Iizzie the same stuff over and over again. he keeps tring to make her remember her charts and all and tells Christina when she gets after him that her life is up to him now. he needs to make sure she comes back from this ( ok, he said it a LOT better, i don't remember but that's the jest. he feels responsable to make sure her brain survives and tries to make her form new memories). He starts to write everthing down on Q-cards. and point to the right card when she asks something.the cards start to cover the room.
At some point the first show ends with Hahn asking cristina to go with him someplace. At the same time ( because grey people like to do things at the same time) we see some one joining the army. Hahn knocks on a door/ army guy opens door/we see hahn but then see him looking at his mom with cristina beside him/ army guy says always glad to have a doctor join, we see (gasp) George.

I thought it was a great EPISODE for its intensity and all but I didn't think it was a great SEASON FINALE. I mean, at the begginning of the night we didn't know if Izzie will make it, we still don't. We didn't know if George will continue, we still don't. Meredith and Derek weren't married, they still aren't (that was cute but not a wedding). Callie and Arizona are still in the same way, Mark and Lexie are still learning to be a couple, Bailey's marriage was forgotten for the better part of the season and now forced in.
I think a season finale should close at least half of the questions raised through the season and open new ones for the following season. The only story closed in this episode was Owen and Cristina's.
i'm too shocked to say somthing, Shonda rocked this season, she gave all she could give from her to make a shocking season, but i am hopeful , goerge and Izie, they both will live, i am sure about it ..........
