  1. DancingQueen Says:

As a HUGE Grey's fan from the VERY BEGINNING (and a bride to be), I'm kinda feelin' cheaped out on the whole Mer and Derek wedding, BUT that blue sticky note is holdin' out hope... as for Lexie and Sloan, meh, we'll see I guess. Yang with at least the now little compassion she has is awesome; I love her, and her and Owen are way hot together. Arizona should stay... her and Callie's wedding MAY just end up happening before Grey's and Shepperd's, hahaha. As for the pregnancy's, hello, it's TV!!! There's ways around that! Why do you think there was so many reruns in a row??? I love Izzie, but if K's attitude is the way I've been hearing; GOOD RIDDENS!! Georgy CANNOT GO!! I know... but still... CAN'T WAIT FOR THE SEASON PREMIER!!!

  2. cara Says:

soooo disappointed with the finale. wedding in a post it? are they kidding us? after everything these two characters have gone through and we have supported and watched them go back and forth in their relationship. now that everything is ok and meredith is all healed, they will just get married in a post it?!? to add insult to injury, they got married to the tune of "what a feeling" in the background.seriously?!? when i heard the music,it reminded me of a girl dancing in leotard not two people madly inlove sharing vows! that scene wasn't even remotely romantic.it was a 5 minute scene of just talking. the proposal in the elevator was already a disappointment and now this...where's the grand gesture? meredith built derek a house of candles for pete's sake. the girl needs a real wedding! un-traditional but still romantic.i'm sure shonda can do better than that.nearly threw my remote at the tv

  3. Bridget Says:

    * Will Lexie and Mark move in?
    Definitely.
    * Will Arizona be around next season?
    Yes.
    * Are Cristina and Owen officially a couple?
Probably not, although I very much want it.
    * Where does a heartbroken Dr. Bailey go from here?
I have this.. idea of Bailey & Webber :]
    * The Meredith-Derek wedding - officiated by them, with hastily written vows on a Post-It note - was very touching and sweet. But was it the real deal?
    Hmm. Maybe.
    * Speaking of Meredith, as Ellen Pompeo's baby bump becomes more visible, is her pregnancy going to be written into the script, or will she go on leave?
    Think she'll go on leave.
    * If it's the latter, how will Meredith's absence be explained?
    Real honeymoon? Her father?
    * Is this the most talked-about episode of Grey's Anatomy since the Season Two finale, which ironically ended with Izzie in the same prom dress?
Yes and I'm just so.. omg.
    * Is this ambiguity of the ending a deliberate cliffhanger written for that purpose, or the result of the producers' indecisiveness over whether George and Izzie will die - and/or Katherine and T.R.'s own willingness to return next fall?
I think George will die. I hope not. George is just so, sweet and kind. But I don't know. I think T.R. leaves. Izzie won't die, I hope.

  4. maggie Says:

I personally think that both Izzie and George's characters are gone. As much as it pains me to say it. Theres been too much speculation for too long in my opinion. Also, I think that if they really are gone that they should probably write in Mere as pregnant, 1. because shes the main character and I can't imagine how they could write her out for a little bit while Ellen Pompeo is on maturnity leave and 2. if George and Izzie are gone they're going to have to bring something in to keep our attention and what better than a baby? Then again I could be wrong ... they filmed Will and Grace while she was pregnant and although you could often tell they pretended like she wasn't pregnant at all. Who knows. This show is great and just keeps getting crazier and making all of us want more.

  5. Farrah Says:

I am still bawling. I love both george and Izzie, but for some reason George is the one I find myself crying over the most.

This was cruel! Our lovable George didn't deserve it.

I keep thinking of all the horrible things he went through and how he remained the kindest-hearted soul in the world, and I just want to slap Shonda.

    He dies, I'm gone.

George is the heart of Grey for me and Grey can't function without its heart.

    I saw this this season.

  6. Tami Says:

Wow. I T-voed this episode and glad I did. When it was over I replayed it back and watched it again.
That was a memorable show. A show that makes you want to watch it again....well...I thought it was good writing. Kudos.
Wow. I like both of those characters. But it may be a better storyline to watch them both go, because it will cause sad hearts in the hospital without them and everyone loves drama.

There's a part of me that wants them on the show. Maybe they can come back together helping each intern when they're troubled. TR and Katherine can have this out of body experience while in the hospital helping their co-workers and have a seperate story line all-together. Just like Katheryn did with her Ex. I know some people didn't get it. But the writer's pulled it out. Cool.
    I'm a fan.

  7. charlotte Says:

what was the significance of what George wrote on Maredith's arm? 007

  8. teachermom Says:

This has been a busy year and I've missed bits and pieces of all the episodes this year. Staff members at my new school are not Grey's fans enough to watch regularly! Could someone please explain the significance of 007? I'd appreciate it; I don't want to wait for summer reruns!

  9. georgelover Says:

    http://www.petitiononline.com/george00/

SIGN THE PETITION TO KEEP GEORGE ALIVE!!

  10. Tammie Says:

I still keep going back to what Shonda has said about how she writes the show. She starts with the end and then has all of the writers work towards that end. When she was pitching season 5, she knew that the end would be with George and Izzie and the elevator. And at the end of the first show of this season, Izzie got off the elevator and walked through the doors with Denny. She said that the first episode had all the clues for the rest of the season. The woman that had the memory that would reset every 30 seconds, just like Izzie. I was devastated when the doors opened and George was standing there. I don't know what to think about next year.... if it is true what Shonda said, that she wanted George's absence in the last part of the finale to not be really thought about, it worked. George was not around much of the season ( at least from the middle on).... I think this was on purpose. I don't really think that TR Knight really wanted to leave. I think that once that rumor started to fly, she ran with it and used it to her advantage. Same with Katie Heigl, I don't think she ever really claimed she wanted to leave either. It is all publicity!! That said, I really did not pay much attention to the fact that I had not seen George in the last 20 minutes of the show. The fact that he was there the whole time as John Doe was heartbreaking! That is exactly what she wanted. The fact that George was getting overlooked by everyone all season. Once he passed his intern exam, he became a little lost. Izzie and George are the heart of the show. I can't imagine the show without them. When Burke left, not a big deal. But Izzie or George, no way! We are so invested in these two, for five years, all that they have been through together. The finale was the best I have seen in years! Bravo Shonda and all of the wonderful writers! As far as the other questions about the finale.... Arizona and Callie.... love them. Mark and Lexie.... no big deal they will be fine. Bailey.... I am happy she is getting rid of Tucker! Never liked him! Christina and Owen.... awsome!! She is consumed by him! Now Meredith and Derek and the post its.... loved it! That was perfect for them, but not official. Which doesn't really mean anything.... yet!! Can't wait for next year!!

  11. someone Says:

007- that's the nickname George got when he almost killed a patient (007, license to kill).

  12. Tammie Says:

Just one more thing..... Grey Matter came up with a great story line next season!!! That was fantastic!!

  13. sun-eyed girl Says:

    * Will Lexie and Mark move in?
Yeah, but not without some rough patches.

    * Will Arizona be around next season?
    Definitely!

    * Are Cristina and Owen officially a couple?
    YES! YES! Yaaay!

    * Where does a heartbroken Dr. Bailey go from here?
Umm, I don't see her accepting Peds. She's got some trouble going on, she doesn't need this specialty right now. But I also think she'll go back to hardcore Bailey from season 1. I think she's want people to think she's handling this.

    * The Meredith-Derek wedding - officiated by them, with hastily written vows on a Post-It note - was very touching and sweet. But was it the real deal?
Do you really see Mer and Der in a churchy church? Shonda already said in her interview - they consider themselves married. They got 'married' in their own special way. If they make it official, a) I don't think this scene needs to be shown, and b) Don't fool yourselves. Mer is SO keeping her family name.

    * Speaking of Meredith, as Ellen Pompeo's baby bump becomes more visible, is her pregnancy going to be written into the script, or will she go on leave?
The only way to write the pregnancy in the script is by a time jump. You know how a medical internship is a year, and it took 3 seasons? What I mean is, if Mer gets pregnant, it would take, like, 2 seasons until she gives birth. I don't see that.

    * If it's the latter, how will Meredith's absence be explained? I'd say make her sick, but they used that on Izzie AND George. So I'm guessing..they just won't air any episodes. A Grey's episode is nothing without Grey!!

    * Is this the most talked-about episode of Grey's Anatomy since the Season Two finale, which ironically ended with Izzie in the same prom dress?
Definitely. I cried, no, I bawled. And I don't usually cry on movies/tv series.

    * Is this ambiguity of the ending a deliberate cliffhanger written for that purpose, or the result of the producers' indecisiveness over whether George and Izzie will die - and/or Katherine and T.R.'s own willingness to return next fall?
Both. I'm pretty sure Katie is staying.

  14. anuflas Says:

    * Will Lexie and Mark move in?
I don't think so, or at least not right away. Lexie made it pretty clear that she isn't ready for it since it seemed that she thought that her relationship with Mark would cloud her professional future. The good thing is that Mark really grew up and he's finally getting a place of his own. About time :).

    * Will Arizona be around next season?
It has been already stated that she will be.

    * Are Cristina and Owen officially a couple?
I think so. He did presented her to his mom. :)

    * Where does a heartbroken Dr. Bailey go from here?
She'll start over. She'll get her refresh. I think that this is good for Bailey. I never liked Tucker. It seemed that he wanted to back her in order for him to stay with her. He blamed her for their son's accident and placing ultimatums? She deserves better. I hope that she does get better.

    * The Meredith-Derek wedding - officiated by them, with hastily written vows on a Post-It note - was very touching and sweet. But was it the real deal?
It was their ceremony but I really really hope that they legalize it. To me it is important, since they will get to make important decisions about it each other. I don't mind if it isn't right away but at least before they decide to have kids. We need something legal, despite all the cr@p that Shonda said. This is coming to haunt them.

    * Speaking of Meredith, as Ellen Pompeo's baby bump becomes more visible, is her pregnancy going to be written into the script, or will she go on leave?
I think she'll go on leave. The thing is that by the time they return for filming, she'll be like 6/7 months pregnant and the S.6 will start right after S.5 ended. And Mer wasn't pregnant by that time. They could probably write Mer being pregnant at some point in S.6.

    * If it's the latter, how will Meredith's absence be explained?
I think that the storyline given to her is that she'll want that Bahamas ceremony that Derek mentioned and they'll be going on to it and for a honeymoon. And they could turn it into an episode once Ellen comes back from maternity leave. I personally would be ok with this but I really don't know what twisted storyline Shonda is going to create about this.

    * Is this the most talked-about episode of Grey's Anatomy since the Season Two finale, which ironically ended with Izzie in the same prom dress?
Nah, S.2 was more talked about since the show had more viewers then. I didn't like her dress. I loved Mer's and Cristina's dressed though.

    * Is this ambiguity of the ending a deliberate cliffhanger written for that purpose, or the result of the producers' indecisiveness over whether George and Izzie will die - and/or Katherine and T.R.'s own willingness to return next fall?
I hope so. That'll teach them to not bite the hand that feeds you. At least for KH. TR hasn't said a word but I really want him to stay.

  15. trey Says:

Ok... Heres what i think about George and Izzie. Shonda has said she knows what happens to the characters so she obviously has something in mind.
First of all: They just introduced a MAJOR LOVE INTEREST for George. They created a plot line for him to come back to. We also know that they went out of their way to cast a star name in this role so It obviously isn't just a small role. She'll prob be in the season premier either way, but I think George will live and something will happen with them after. But he won't be able to go to Iraq because of his injuries. We also found out why he was in so little this season--Shonda said it was that so no one would notice he was gone when he was John Doe in the SF, so it wasn't about attitudes or no story line or whatever.

Same point with Izzie. Why bother with the whole DNR thing if they were just going to ignore it unless it was to create a plot for later? This is also more on instinct--I just don't think they'll kill Izzie. Her eyelids were fluttering which I think was clue that she is still alive.

Also I have heard someone in Hollywood say that "If information is leaked--It is because someone WANTED it to be leaked". I think this whole George Izzie thing was built up to really make it look like they were leaving and make this even MORE of a cliffhanger. It was a publicity thing.

  16. kathy Says:

i need to know what 0 0 7 meant and how did meredith know it was george from the writing of 0 0 7 on her palm from him

  17. kare Says:

There was no MerDer wedding. If all it took was signed post-it note to make it real, then gay/lesbian couples must be fighting for...well, nothing.

  18. Christine Says:

From the first ever episode of Greys Anatomy:

As the first day wears on, Cristina and Meredith bond. Izzie is stuck with rectal exams because she gets on Bailey's wrong side , while George is chosen by Dr. Preston Burke to assist on a surgey. He doesn't perform very well, however, as the patient dies and another arrogant intern, Alex Karev, dubs George as "007" because he has a license to kill.

  19. Yaz Says:

I personally wanna know if that annoying Swanson doctor going to be a regular next season, coz it felt like it... she had more lines than george!

  20. nehma Says:

In Season six I would like:
    1. McDREAMY to be more like he was in the first few episodes of season one...more light and funny.
    2. MEREDITH should be sexy again like she was in season 1,2 and 3. In season 1 and two she seemed strong and now shes a bit whiny.
    3. BAILEY should return to her completely morally correct-rightfully harsh, authoratative self.
    4. Cristina should continue her evolution from robot to human just as long as she is still emotionally stunted...that side of her is hilarious!!!

  21. gizziehrt Says:

    i just wanted to say:
i think that they will have izzie die (i hate it but that is what i think) then her husband will have a hard time with grief and stuff. George will live. but he wont join the army now that he is hurt. instead he will start the process of gaining his health back (with the help of amanda the girl he saved) him and the girl he saved will fall in love.
i also think that it would be a good plot if meredith really did get pregnant on the show. they could have her pregnant and go through stuff and in the end she may work to hard and have a miscarriage or the baby might die a couple of days after birth (that would be sad, but it would solve the problem of having to totally change the show to show the life with a baby)
that is just what i think on those two topics.

  22. dempsgal Says:

This episode was awesome. Grey's has some of the most talented actors among the other shows and they need to be recognized for this season. Bailey really stood out to me in this episode, like she has almost all season. And what about Karev? He is great! I am a major Mer/Der fan so therefore I think McDreamy is awesome everytime he appears on the show. He ce can say so much with his eyes and facial expression. I pause it sometime just to see his eyes!! Their post-it wedding?? That was so them and I could not see them getting married any other way. They sat in that room and made a promise and vows to each other, verbally and written. That is all that matters to them and me as well. Now granted I would have loved to have seen an official "now you may kiss the bride" but that is not them.

I am so on this new Owentina ship. I love them together!! I hope season 6 is great for them!

I believe Izzie lives and sadly, George dies. She was on the elevator and he was waiting on her to either get off or stay on. I think she will stay on and when the doors shut for her to go back that is when they will lose George whether that be on the table or in his ICU room. I hate to see him go but if that is what he wants then he needs it or else he will not be acting passionately!

All in all this was a great season, brings me back to my favorite season, which is season 2!! I do not think they will write in the baby for MerDer because the timing is not right and I think that will be when the series is going to end and goodness knows I do not want that anytime soon! Great job writers and I anxiously await Season 6!!

  23. mrs.o'malley Says:

Okay so I just got back from my friend and I's greys anatomy finale party and woah! that was an intense episode! After the episode we were talking and agreed that the O'malley thing was a shocker!after mer said '007' we both gasped and yelled 'GEORGE!" but anywayy....We were dicussing and we think that George will Die and Izzie will live. She thought that maybe it had something to do with the fact that Izzie was in the elevtor and George was already out, like welcoming her. And the episode ended with them shocking her one last time and maybe that last shock pulls her back to life and the elevtor closes and she lives. Not sure.. But O-M-G what an amazing episode!

  24. Gabi Says:

The rumors are TR wanted out all season, and he has still been giving his 300% to every rare minute he was on. TR is truly amazing. I ddon't see him ever not giving his all, especially if Shonda has the intelligence to actually use his amazing talent and give him a story worthy of him.

We the fans love George. He's the heart of the show. He needs to stay or many of us will leave.

  25. Gen Says:

"When Burke left, not a big deal. But Izzie or George, no way!"

Actually a lot of us really miss Burke. And we really miss him with Cristina. He loved her and was kind to her. He did not throw her into medical scaffolding or choke her. He also spoke to her in complete adult sentences and helped her to express herself better. And... he was beautiful.
