idk what the hell is going on, but i do not think its all shonda's fault, and i also think T.R isn't a little angel on the set either. I don't think Shonda is gonna "torture" george, thats ridiculous. this show has more drama off set than on set.
non the less, george is a great character, i won't stop watching if he leaves though, but thats only because he's hardly been on this whole season and i've LOVED this season!

From every account I have heard, Shonda is the one to blame here.
She has been treating TR badly since the IW incident.
That is what Aussiello said in his article. He said Shonda was purposely keeping TR in the dark about his fate to torture him all summer long.
I am sorry but that is unprofessional and cruel.
The one thing I learned this season without George is Grey is awful without him.
I won't be watching and I know many people won't too.
The show has lost its magic. They kill off George, they kill the heart of the show.
This is all Shonda's fault and I'll never forgive her. She has ignored us George fans all season, and she did the same to Gizzie and Gexie fans.

I don't think that we will ever know exactly what is going on with Shonda and TR. I have heard that Shonda is being vindictive and I have also heard that TR has been disruptive behind the scenes. I'm sure that in the end it is a combination of both.

And man, he is also the best kisser. The way his hands went down Izzie's neck and whole body in that elevator kiss, drools.

well i remember back in november it said that he refused to act because he thought his storyline was stupid....and that was RIGHT after him and lexie didn't become a couple so it wasn't like he didn't have enough screentime then. if t.r. wanted to stay on greys anatomy then why wont he stand up for himself and fight with his fans? we haven't heard one word from him, thats because he wants out...and he wants to do broadway or whatever it was lol.... and when did melissa george call shonda that? i don't think that happened....

I don't buy this stuff. Aussiello, Kristen, Matt, they all said TR just wanted a storyline, any storyline, so do you think TR would honestly refuse a story?
My guess is TR got mad at them for firing Brooke and took them to task for it, and that is when all his stories got cut. The timing fits very well, because it is after Brooke left, that all his stories were suddenly dropped. If this was just about Gexie, they would have given him another story but he got nothing. Shonda didn't appreciate Tr pointing out to her just how disgusting her treatment of Brooke was, but that is TR for you. Loyal at all costs.
You do know TR's representatives or even the lawyers involved might be telling him to shut up. Shonda might also have ordered him to shut up. They can do that, and she can sue him if he talks without her permission. I am a lawyer and I know that. Plus has anyone actually asked TR whether he wanted to stay? They asked Katie many times, but they haven't asked him.
Maybe TR does want to leave but he only wants to leave because he has nothing. Why would he want to stay in a show that is NOT using him and treating him like dirt? Would you stay if your employer treated you like that?
If he went out and said I want to stay but only if I get a story, the George haters would call him whiny. He can't win with some people. His castmates and the critics and the internal sources all said TR only wanted to act and would stay if he got a story. So see it all goes back to Shonda She is treating him like dirt so he wants to leave. You treat someone like dirt long enough and you subject him to psychological and emotional abuse like she has, and anyone with a sane mind will want to leave. Shopnda should get fired and replaced by someone who appreciates that George is the heart and soul of this show and is beloved by the fans.
Melissa George did an article when she left saying that when Shonda loved you, she was an angel, but when you got on youyr bad side, watch out because she would make your life hell.
And TR had a lot of screentime the beginning of the season? He had 38 minutes the ten first episodes according to US mag.He barely had any scenes arfter he and Izzie broke up. Is 38 minutes per 10 episode good airtime for you? Gexie was dropped in episode 6, meaning Tr got about 4 minutes an episode even before Brooke left and Gexie ended.
The whole Gexie story was about Lexie, not George. It was shown through her eyes. George didn't even show up in any of the Lexie doing things for George stuff.
He was absent of the Gexie story in season 5, so how can you claim he had good airtime?

He is a sensitive person who always claimed nobody could be interested in ordinary old him.
I doubt he knows just how many fans he has. This is the man who, when you pay him a compliment, changes the subject and compliment somebody else.
The fact he didn't respond to IW's accusations didn,t make them true. Same with those rumors.
I think TR would stay if they would use him to his potential.
TR is a professional. All his colleagues say so. I don't buy for one minute he would refuse to act a story.
I never heard this story before, but if you have proof, can you post the link to it where TR says he hates his story and doesn't want to act it?
I don't go on hearsay or believe what so-called journalists say.
As long as I don't hear from him that he wants to leave and that he would want to leave even if he got a story an some airtime on the show, I won't give up fighting for him to stay.

TR is a perfectionist according to many sources. That's the guy who worked with a broken arm in one of his movies because he didn't want to delay the production.
And yes, those rumors were refuted.
I also don't buy the PD is a diva rumor at all. Or the Ellen ones, or the Katie ones.
Those actors get nasty rumors because they are the 4 people who make the fans talk the most and that is what those gossip want. People to talk.
I met TR. He is a sweetheart and extremely shy. He could barely look me in the eyes when I said I thought he was cute, and got all stuttery.
If TR absolutely wants to leave, they need to leave the door open.
If he dies, we will never see him again.

TR has the most expressive eyes ever.
No I don't have to be glad he had one season where he was important. He is my favorite character and IMHO, the most interesting and wonderful character on the show.
And George has plenty of male fans too. My husband and brothers included. Even my dad likes him. He says he is the only guy on this show that feels real and not some stereotype.
I know a lot of them, so give me a break with your women.
If he is lacking screen time and stories, Shonda needs to give him one. There is so much she could do with him and so much she hasn't done.
This fan isn't watching without him. Grey is way too boring without our George.

If George is non-existent, blame Shonda. That was probably her master plan. Have George disappear so she can force him out the door and nobody would care because he has been a ghost all season.
Except it didn't really work, did it? It seems the fans just loved George more and realized even more how much he brings to the show.
I know that I always liked George but now I LOVE him and I value every single one of his appearances like a gift.
TR is so talented that he can take two minutes of screen time and make it memorable.
Like that one moment where he smiled at Izzie. This was 30 seconds of screentime but it was the one scene the entire episode that had me bursting into tears. It's that one moment that stayed with me.
Now that is great acting. I don't get why Shonda is wasting his talent like that, and not using a character that is so loved.
She keeps pushing characters like Lexie that don't work and bringing new characters that are lame, and not using a character most people love and care about.
What is wrong with her?

The women comment is the thing that upsets me here, not the rest of the post.
If George is non-existent, blame Shonda. That was probably her master plan. Have George disappear so she can force him out the door and nobody would care because he has been a ghost all season.
Except it didn't really work, did it? It seems the fans just loved George more and realized even more how much he brings to the show.
I know that I always liked George but now I LOVE him and I value every single one of his appearances like a gift.
TR is so talented that he can take two minutes of screen time and make it memorable.
Like that one moment where he smiled at Izzie. This was 30 seconds of screentime but it was the one scene the entire episode that had me bursting into tears. It's that one moment that stayed with me.
Now that is great acting. I don't get why Shonda is wasting his talent like that, and not using a character that is so loved.
She keeps pushing characters like Lexie that don't work and bringing new characters that are lame, and not using a character most people love and care about.
What is wrong with her?

I meant nothing by my "women" comment. Bad joke in poor taste, and that's that. I meant no offense. I understand what you're saying about how important his little screen time is. Usually, that's all it takes, one great moment that defines and entire hour. Maybe we'll see more of him, maybe we wont, but no matter what happens, we can all agree that he is still a major role in the series.
