Pretty sure that **e*=Owen, not Alex. I think it's likely that the wedding will be Alex and Izzie. I can see Meredith and Derek doing something quiet later, I don't think it'll be an elaborate wedding like the kind we know that Izzie would plan. I will be disappointed if it's Mark and Lexie and I don't mind them as a couple. I just think that there are others who it would mean more for and I don't think that Mark is anywhere near ready for marriage. It's possible that the comments dropped by everyone were just misdirection and it really is Meredith and Derek but at this point, I don't find it all that likely.

It is probably going to be the interns that were fighting over each other in the previous episodes or something totally unrelated to izzie, alex, and merideth and derek...I feel like the merder wedding requires too much planning for it to happen so soon, and Im sure they will have a fight and it's going to be like..are they still getting married?!? It is definitely not going to happen easily..nothing does with them. And of course Shonda knows that everyone will think its Alex and Izzie bc of her cancer..so if she wants to throw a curveball she probably will..I am not stressin' over it..just be patient..it will happen soon enough..and if we are all hoping and wishing for something to happen and it doesn't...then we will all be disappointed..so I am just going to go for the 'wait and see'.

Does anyone remember the first episode when Iz gets out of the elevator and he says: "You look better than the bride"? well, one o f my theories, since shonda told that what we saw episode will make a lot of sense, is that Iz will die on Meredith's wedding day. So Deny will come for her and saying her that same thing, that she looks better than the bride...
But, lets hope not and that I'm just fantasizing...

i SO want it to be merder more than anything but i think it is going to be alex and izzie. merder deserve more than any other couple on the show to get married because they have been through so much and as fans we have had to see them break up and make up countless times. i hope its not mark and lexie because sloan would not be sloan if he got married in the first relationship that has actually worked out for him. i am fine with them getting married, they just have to give it more time.

By the time the show airs, no one is going to care anymore! I kind of wish that Shonda hadn't said anything. Imagine what a shock it would be if someone else gets married and we had no idea.
