Okay, so Shonda Rhimes said the 100th episode of Grey's Anatomy takes place on Meredith and Derek's wedding day, while other accounts have said they're not getting married.
What gives here?
Regarding the much-touted May 7 episode, EW's Michael Ausiello reminds us of Shonda Rhimes' long and well-documented history of injecting her alleged Grey's Anatomy spoilers with heavy doses of tricky and even misleading wordplay.
Case in point: Izzie doesn't have a brain tumor (she has a brain metastasis).
Michael says that unless the Grey's Anatomy script underwent an 11th hour rewrite, he stands by his earlier statement that Mer and Der do not get married on May 7.
The only thing he's unsure of is whether or not he should reveal the name of the bride and groom who are tying the knot in that episode, which he claims to know.
That we can't control - but sound off in the comments below! What do you make of this and Ellen Pompeo's comments about the big wedding day? What will happen?

I don't care anymore I would've prefer that Shonda would've kept her mouth shut. I'm pissed off because if it is MerDer wedding day then someone is going to steal their wedding day. Is not fair to the fans, for this people to play with us like that.
Also if it is MerDer wedding and they don't get married it means that something bad happens between them and they don't get married. I'm pissed, because this Shonda once again play with this couple.

AND i think that if two people do get married on May 7th, it should be a couple that has been with the show since day 1, which would exclude Mark and Lexie. There's no more perfect couple to get married that day than Derek and Meredith or Alex and Izzie....at least in my opinion.

It was already stated by Shonda that Mer and Derrick do get married however I think they will be scheduled to get married on the 7th and Izzie will die unfortunately.

Shonda is always messing with the fans, not cool! Nobody likes to be teased! Although, as much as I'm hoping it's a McDreamy wedding I think an Alex & Izzie wedding could bring an incredibly emotional episode. I mean they need really good ratings...why not throw in something like that. But if they did, i'd be convinced that Katherine Heigl's character would be done!

don't get me wrong everyone, i'm ALL for MerDer.
But I would just like the wedding to be Alex and Izzie's; not only will it bring stellar emotion to the show, it would be a twist worth being twisted (unlike Slexie) which should DEFINITELY not get hitched until the show's 100th season.
But, MerDer would be just as great, either way, i'm loving GA.=D
