Q: Is there any news as to whether Jessica Capshaw will be back on Grey's Anatomy next season?
A: Not only will she be back, she's finalizing a deal to become a full-fledged series regular! Holla if you're a lesbian!
Q: Will Meredith and Thatcher finally resolve their issues on Grey's Anatomy?
A: Not exactly. She, will, however reach a new understanding with the Chief. She even gives him a gift. A pretty major gift. A gift I have a hunch will play a big role next season (if the story is going where I think it's going).
Q: Can you give me some Grey's Anatomy scoop about Mer-Der? I'm tired of hearing about Izzie!
A: You're in luck! Sharon Lawrence, who guest stars this week as Izzie's trailer-trash mom, had some interesting things to say about working alongside Katherine Heigl...
For starters, they didn't get a chance to speak to each other prior to rehearsing their first scene, which called for Lawrence to practically tackle Heigl in her hospital bed.
"The first thing I did was barge in and hug her," Lawrence explains with a laugh. "I could tell right away she was present and not guarded. We got to know each other as the day went on, because we would have time to talk about other things while we were waiting to work."
"It's an odd thing we do for a living. Sometimes you have to get close to somebody right away. That's why I was grateful for her openness and warmth, and it's because of that that we were able to make physical and emotional choices that really conveyed the intimacy these two had."
"She is such an honest and open actress. There is not an untrue bone in her body as an actor, and it made my job so easy."
Despite all the media attention focused on Katherine Heigl's uncertain Grey's Anatomy future, Lawrence insists she came into the job with no preconceived notions about her TV daughter.
"I would never judge a situation from the outside," she says.
"I've been around long enough to know that the outside does not have all the facts. All I care about is that the storyline is served well."

wait, i don't get the last spoiler... the question asked for mer-der info and even said they were tired of hearing about izzie and the response beings by saying 'you're in luck' and then continues to be a monolith on working with katherine heigl?... did i miss something?

Okay - I've given up spoilers (except sneak peeks and the like) but could not resist watching the headlines to see the scoop with Arizona. I'm not a lesbian, but holla anyway! I love her character!

i would like to see meredith pregnant (given that Ellen Pompeo is and all) and it would be sweet... i think meredith just needs to forgive the Chief over her mother...
and i love Arizona... im not a lesbian but shes a fun character and she doesnt take anything from anyone...

maybe it is the chief walking her down the aisle? but how will that play a big role next season? i can't see any big effect of it, or does it just bring them closer as a "father & daughter"?
also i think grey's has enough of regulars, there are almost too many now and to add even one more is what i think not a good idea. it is hard for everyone to have a decent storyline if there are too many people on the show.
and ausiello must be blind or something. when asked about merder he answers with saying a whole lot of things about izzie? even after saying "you're in luck"? he's weird

yeah, what if it is mer being pregnant :D and maybe she will name the cief as the grandpa instead of thatcher. i don't think godfather, isn't it the father who pics the godfather? if that's the case i think derek'll pic mark, he's his best friend. however mark will probably not be the best godfather ;) he'll teach the baby how to get around with as many people as possible and so on
