Drama. Sadness. Heartbreak. Life-changing decisions. Even a little humor.
Last night's episode was a bit of a metaphor for life, Grey's Anatomy style.
From Hunt trying to exorcise his demons, to George overcoming Alex's taunts and shining again, to Izzie's fight to stay alive, Bailey thriving in peds, Callie being forced to defy her dad, and the evolution of the Derek-Mark-Lexie-Meredith relationships, last night had it all.
And it was wonderful.
If you missed any of the action, follow the link to read our episode guide.
Some great Grey's Anatomy videos and pictures from the episode are live, as is our music guide. Our list of Grey's Anatomy quotes is in progress, so check back often!
Bailey thrived once again in her new role in peds, while Callie made the difficult - but correct - decision to live her own life and cut ties with her overbearing, disapproving father.

Bailey is such an incredible doctor! Her story brought me to tears last night. And Callie! I couldn't stop laughing!! Who knew she and Arizona were Lucy & Rikki!! I hope she goes on more spanish rants! That was priceless!

Last night's episode was very disturbing. a graphic suicide scene is very irresponsible for them to have included. Every 16 mins someone in the US dies by suicide and those family members left to deal with WHY may have been watching. I was. I am a survivor of my brothers suicide. It wasn't by jumping out a window, but I didn't need to see that. That is NOT entertainment, it's shock tv. The writers of ALL tv shows need to read up on the responsible way to educate people about suicide and mental illness/mood disorders

Well after a month off, I was waiting for last night's Grey's and it did not disappoint. Bailey was amazing, she is so good and brought me to tears. Callie was great, I loved the screen time she and Arizona got...I loved the rant in Spanish, that was hilarious and Arizona's just sitting there, priceless. I am glad George got a lot of screen time as well, although he does need ot go see Izzy. Great episode.

lats nights episode was good. I like how Alex is taking time out and is seeing Izzie but i really feel that they need to get Izzie more better and back her self cause how much longer do we have to see her lay in that hospital bed just get her better and back to her self so she can be with Alex more. George need to go see she is his best friend but just get her better i am tired of seeing her sick and in bed in every episode so please get her better so she can go back to doing her job

Lisa, sorry for your loss, I am very sympathetic to your cause and have lost a family member (an uncle) to suicide as well. I however disagree with you saying that Grey's is irresponsible for potraying this. If this was the case, they wouldn't be able to show someone dying of cancer, or a brain tumor or heart failure or anything because everyone has something that they have lost someone to, and it causes them pain. It is a drama, so as serious and disturbing as suicide or any of the other things we see on there are, I think people can choose to take from them what they will or also choose not to watch if it is too much to handle. I have 3 children, and it makes me cry every time a child on the show is hurt, sick or dying, but it is part of what makes it such a great show. It makes it believable. These are things that really take place in life. It's not as if they were making fun of the man who committed suicide. They were trying to help him.
As I said, I am sorry for your pain. I know from personal experience that it is truly painful to experience someone you love taking their own life. It really is. But, I don't think the show was being irresponsible. Good luck to you on your fundraising walk. I am doing Patrick Dempsey's 100 mile bike ride (Dempsey Challenge) to raise money for cancer research/awareness.

I can honestly say with Bailey going into ped's I'm going to be crying a heck of a lot more then I have in past seasons. With two young children myself it is so hard to watch other children go through pain.
But lastnight definately did not disappoint! I laughed, I cried, I got angry and inspired. Everything a Grey's anatomy episode should have been and more.
I loved Callie talking in Spanish, and get happier with Arizona being on the show everytime I watch her. Poor Izzie, at the end, it broke my heart, but I'm so happy Mer pulled through for her. Mer/Der/Lexie/Mark was very well done. I still love the part where Mer says to Lexie "Your my sister Lexie, your in the wedding."
Bailey was phenomenal. I can't even express how much I loved her performance lastnight. My heart broke into a thousand pieces watching that scene with her, the little girl and her dad.
All around wonderful episode, I can't wait for the next one!

lisa, I'm sorry to hear this, I really am. I can only imagine what you've been through. They show this in medical drama because it's life, and that's what happens in real life. People die in a hospital, or jumping out of a window, for cancer or because they didn't want to live. It happens. It happens very often and we can't do anything, we can just show it as a very sad part of our life.
Anyway, amazing episode, really. Sad, really sad, but wonderful. Bye =)

Luv that Meredith and Derek are engaged! Did you happen to catch that they have a page on The Knot!?!? http://www.theknot.com/ourwedding/MeredithGrey&DerekShepherd
In the gift registry section they ask fans give donations to charities instead of sending gifts. I guess gifts would be a bit hard to ship ;)
They did a great job selecting charities that tie to show storylines (clearly I’m obsessed), checkout the Alzheimer’s Association page they have one especially for Meredith and Derek http://www.alz.org/Meredith_and_Derek Very cool!!

After a month I had such a big disappointment.....
what on earth do they want from us to accept????
Der mark frienship???? mark is an ass. he sucks as a character and as a friend.
What about Lexie???idiot, disgusting, a mess.
WE skipped all the scenes with Mark and Lexie and we had a sour taste in the mouth.......
Too bad, too superficial, too annoying
