It looks like Shonda Rhimes has been teaching Chandra Wilson the art of the major sell.
During an interview with The New York Post, Wilson said the Grey's Anatomy finale certainly won't let fans down.
"I've been told there are some life-changing things that happen to all of us," said the actress that plays Miranda Bailey.
So, what takes place on this much-hyped episode?
"It's supposed to be Bailey's day off, but she decides to come in and take a look at some procedures she hasn't seen in a while, and she gets sucked in with another child who's not doing too well," Wilson said. "But she handles this one considerably differently from some of the children that knocked her off her feet before."
What about the wedding every Grey's Anatomy fan is talking about? Wilson wouldn't give any clues about who is talking down the aisle on May 7.
"We're doing a church [wedding] and we're doing pretty dresses and they've got bridesmaids dresses for Izzie, Christina and Lexie," she said.
Hmmm... bridesmaids dresses for Izzie, Christina and Lexie? Does that mean Izzie won't be the one to get hitched? Discuss!

Ahh this episode sounds like it's going to be so great! I'm almost POSITIVE it's going to be a Meredith and Derek wedding. I think that all the stuff we've heard about Alex and Iz possibly getting married was just to throw us off.
Wait, i'm confused. Is she saying the wedding will happen in the season finale? Isn't the wedding supposed to happen in episode 100?

I just have been thinking about the wedding and I came up with my theory. They never said that someone would get married on May 7th, they just said that there was a wedding. Maybe Meredith and Derek's wedding day will be on May 7th, but they won't end up getting married until the finale for some reason......just a thought!

We all know MerDer is planned to get married in 100th episode, but then I think they give it away to Izzie and Alex. Mer changes to Izzie's bridesmaid dress that she was soposed to have on Mer's wedding and that's why we can see Ellen in a purple dress on the set of the 100th episode. And that's maybe why we don't see Katherine Heigl in any dress at all on the set, because she's gonna wear the wedding dress. And then MerDer hopefully will get married in the finale instead. Just my theory.

From previous seasons, I find it VERY hard to believe that things can work out so easily for Mer & Der. I think that even if they do make it to the church, there will be some big twist.
The theory that Mer and Izzie will change, and maybe Mer & Der will get married in the finale is a great idea! I think that could happen.
Things never, ever, ever work out as planned for Mer & Der. EVER! Just what I think.

There was a picture of Meredith in a purple bridesmaids dress so the Izzie/Alex wedding could still be on, and I don't think the writers would rush the Mer/Der wedding they would draw out the engagement because its taken so long to happen.

The show runners should not rush an Izzie/Alex wedding either. Since before the crossover when Shonda said she would not say who the wedding was for under spoilers about MerDer, most fans have speculated an Iz/Alex wedding. This is not a surprise, as it's the most predictable outcome of a episode GA has ever had. For me, Alex/Iz who are newly back together are not ready and marrying someone due to illness screams bad Lifetime move drama. They deserve better. There really is only one couple ready for the walk down the isle and that's Meredith and Derek.

doesnt mean necessarily that THEY are going to wear them. hence izzie and alex's wedding... i guess... like, izzie sees WOW HOW AMAZING IT'D BE IF I GOT MARRIED, and shes gonna want to do it, or meredith will give it to izzie

Here's what I think.
The wedding which they are currently filming (the May 7th wedding?) is Alex/Izzie's wedding.
The wedding which Chandra is talking about is Meredith/Derek's wedding, which would happen later in the season....maybe the season finale?

im like 95 percent sure its alex and izzie who get married on may 7th, because besides all of my personal ideas, KH was seen on set in a wedding dress, there are many rumors, and i've seen pics of justin chambers on the set of the 100th episode in at tux, and meredith in a purple dress. this is gonna be sooo good! i love alex and izzie. cant wait!!
