Amy Madigan will be reprising her role as Seattle Grace's on-call shrink next month on Grey's Anatomy, only this time it's not Meredith Grey she's working with, it's Owen (Kevin McKidd).
The ex-military doc's post-traumatic stress disorder will flare up, causing him to physically hurt Cristina, albeit unintentionally, we hope. Let's hope Madigan's Dr. Wyatt can help him out.
Also returning to Grey's Anatomy is Callie's dad, played by Hector Elizondo. Pops, er, pops up in April and is shocked to discover that his daughter is now into girls. That should be good.

I'm so happy that Amy is returning!!! I just wish that some other characters *cough* Derek *cough* visit her too. However, it's good that Owen is getting treatment. Poor guy needs it.

YAY Dr. Wyatt is coming back. Now there is a Dr. that needs to a Regular on Grey's. Every single character on Grey's need a session or two on Dr. Wyatt's couch.

oh my god, I'm so happy. I've been saying over and over again how much I wish they'd bring back Amy Madigan. I can't wait to see her reprising her role once more. She brings such great dynamic to those she interacts with, and she's the one who actually gets to say what everyone watching is thinking.

I love both of these characters on GA - Hector Elizondo is great!! And Amy is great as well - the Owen story should be interesting and Callie/father scenes should be good! So happy the show is finally back on tonight!!!
