ABC has released a sneak preview of next Thursday's episode of Grey's Anatomy. As we've written about numerous times, it looks like Derek is reaching his breaking point.
Well, below is a scene from "I Will Follow You Into the Dark" in which he decides he's had enough of people dying on his watch and refuses to operate. Chief? Not happy:

Anyone notice how Meredith is FINALLY the optimist? She was trying to get him to look at the glass half full and not empty! What a great change for her character!

This epi looks INTENSE!!!
I can't wait to see how it all unfolds, but my heart my just break watching Der like that!!! It is great to see how Mer is finally the optimist-- none too soon, either. Der is really going to need her to be! So, it looks like Izzie's going to confide in Cristina. I think this is going to be awesome to watch as well. Interesting pick... but I think Izzie will be looking for someone who's not really emotional (I think she'll be a little bit surprised, though, at how much Cristina's grown) and super kick-*ss at the medicine. From that point of view, good pick. How long do you think Cristina will be able to keep Izzie's illness secret from Mer???
I really hope there's gonna be some George in this epi.
