For all you fans that miss the George & Izzie friendship---
Gizzie friendship video-- scenes that are forgotten. Shonda has forgotten. Yes, I'm gonna be annoying and post them elsewhere on this site, to make sure everyone sees b/c so many AI fans miss the Gizzie friendship too-- we have to make Shonda hear us!!

Shonda needs to remember and needs to hear us fans!!!!
At first I thought it was odd that she goes to Cristina, but the more I think about it, the more sense it makes. Izzie's scared right now, but she also knew something was wrong. She wants options, possible treatments, chances of survival rates. This is information Cristina can give her. If she goes to Alex or George, they're going to go all emotional on her, inspirational "you can fight this stuff". That's not bad, but it's not what she's looking for right now either. I watched the video that greysaddiction posted the link to for Izzie and George fans. I always preferred Izzie with Alex romantically, but her and George's friendship meant the world to me. Watching this video will remind you of how wonderful it was and how ridiculous they're playing it out now. I don't know what's going on with the actors, writers, producers, etc., whether someone's being a drama queen (or king). But I know that the viewers that keep this show in the ratings deserve more from this friendship then what we've been given lately.

I agree. For the record, having met TR, I don't buy at all that he is being a diva or anything. This is just the show badmouthing him so they don't look like the bad guys for backburnering him. But even if I did believe it and it was true, why are they making the George and Gizzie fans suffer for it? The overwhelming majority love this friendship and miss it, and she is making them suffer for this. Shonda should be more mature than thta and not let this affect the writing of the show, and the Gizzie friendship is essential to Grey.
And for the record, I do love Gizzie as a a couple, I never loved Alex and Izzie together, no offense.
I don't buy it either. DH is doing the same to Nicolette Sheridan because she is leaving. This tactic isn't new.
Something is obviously bothering Shonda about TR but I would bet the fault would be on her. I just wish she would get over it so we could get George and the GI friendship back.

Oh my does this look good... it feels like ages since we've had a new one, and I love that Iz goes to Christina, I hope they get closer.

I wanted Izzie to go to George. You know, her best friend? Shonda is freaking nuts to continue ignoring their amazing bond.
Plus, George needs the story, Cristina doesn't.
