I am curious to know if you believed the many rumors over the eyars about PD being a total arrogant jerk who was jealous of Kevin McKidd and a total egomaniac or the Ellen are a diva rumors or all the rumors about Katie.
Those rumors have been going on for years. TR never had one bad word said about him, quite the opposite. Then the show wants to get rid of him and suddenly this ONE mag says he is a diva. Please! DH is doing the same thing to Nicolette Sheridan. It is called making the person who is leaving the bad guy so you, the show, look like good guys.
Notice how all their sources were confidential and not named? Probably Shonda herself.
If TR was such an asshole, those rumors would have come up way before season 5 and none of his castmates would still be best buddies with him off the set like they are.
I met TR. He is about the sweetest person you could meet.
That sweetness in George? It all comes from TR, I am convinced of thta after meeting him.
I want him to stay. He makes me feel happy just seeing his beautiful face.
Not that George wouldn't make a great doctor there. In real life, Iraq needs a lot more guys like George over there. Guys who genuine give a damn.
But this is a show, and we need him a lot more.

I think you guys missed a big point in the spoiler. It is a "recruiting" center. Owen would not return to active duty through a recruiting center, not even anything close to it. Assuming he wasn't dishonorably discharged he is in the reserves and the officers at the recruiting center are not the appropriate place to return to active duty(doubtful anyway due to his PTSD). So it must be someone else ...

i think i may be the only one who doesn't really care if george stays or goes. Yeah, it will be sad that he's not there, being george, but TR KNight doesn't want to play him anyome and i think if they forced him to stay, George would become a crap character.
Owen, under any circumstances, cannot leave. he leave, half if not all, the watchers of Greys will be devistated. I will be horrified if the let him leave. No more broken cristina, not nice :(

As for all you George haters..he is an ACTOR. Which means he needs to act. I see extras get more screen time then him. So if he is whiny (which i doubt) he has that right. He is pretty darn good at what he does, so if he no longer has a job with Greys, I hope to see him in the future doing something else.
As for the wedding. I think its fake. Its a dream, or a hallucination. It took them this long to get to an engagement, i doubt a wedding is soon. Even the Yang/Burke wedding with Burke pushing everything it took the whole season.
And as for everyone who says " If _____ leaves I am not watching greys anymore" Why are you on this site..this is GREYS ANATOMY, if your a die hard fan you will stick with it till the end. Stop whining

If George joining the military is the send off for George (and I really, really hope he is staying), I just want it to be a pro-active decision on his part and not a reaction to events around him, such as Izzie being sick or everyone else coupling up or whatever.
Quite a few of George's big decisions have been made as a reaction to some other event (marrying Callie after his dad's death, sleeping with Izzie, at least the first time, after a fight with Callie, for example.) I want him to be his own man and make a decision because it is what is best for him, not because he is running away from something or anything like that. It is an honorable decision to become a doctor in the military and I just hope it isn't tainted with anything else.
I read somewhere that people were saying Burke could come back after George leaves because then TR and Isaiah Washington wouldn't be together to fight. HEre is the problem with this...Have people forgotten that he laid his hands on MY MCDREAMY?!?!? Patrick Dempsey stepped in to defend TR and IW grabbed PD by the throat and shoved him ?!?!?! He CANNOT come back to Grey's! Don't get me wrong, I actually liked Burke's character for the most part, but NOBODY messes with McDreamy!!! I don't think the cast would want him back.

Haven't you all been watching this season? They have been desperate to generate ratings. They have thrown new characters at us left right and center just praying one of them would be liked. All the others were disposed of quickly (anyone remember Sadie?).
Owen has re-ignited the show. McKidd is constantly on the talk shows generating buzz. He's not going anywhere. The others I can't speak for. After all, they were there all the while the show has been slipping.
Perhaps no one is leaving. THe spoiler said "The Grey's Anatomy season finale features two characters at a military recruiting office." That doesn't mean anyone is being recruited. Perhaps Owen needs to talk to former buddies. We don't know who is stationed at the center or where they came from.
Also, Shonda said it would be Mer/Der's wedding day. Cristina and Burke had a wedding day but no wedding. I still think it will be Izzie and Denny's wedding in heaven.
