Great, more news to make me vomit.

  2. Paddisonluvr Says:

I agree, all - kristen, your idea about a dream sequence is intriguing. I hadn't thought about that before (don't know why considering we started this season with Derek "dying") and it would be interesting if Izzie is seeing everything at once.

As for Owen, I doubt they would get rid of him. I have to agree that he may be accompanying someone, but not re-enlisting. If it is George, he will be sincerely missed! When I first started watching the show, George was the character who caught my attention. I love him and I will definitely miss him, despite the fact that he is no longer my all-time favorite (that is not because of the character or TR - I just like Derek more. And, of course, Addie is my all-time favorite).

atheart282, I agree. the finale should be great!!

  3. Kimberly Says:

Anyone think it is Izzie and Denny getting married in heaven after she dies????

  4. Tegan Says:

Ughhh. Please don't take George away. D:

  5. smileymiley23 Says:

Owen is the best thing to happen tho Grey's Anatomy in a long time. His character has brought so much new attention to the show that I doubt he will leave the show after just one season. Plus Cristina needs to have a storyline and this has been her best one so far. I really hope they keep him on the show for a long time because he is an amazing actor and is an interesting add to Grey's

  6. Calzona_fan Says:

I have a feeling that it will be Owen accompanying George. My speculation is that Izzie will die, George will be devastated and lash out by joining the Army. Owen will go to make sure he is certain and does it right. Leaving room for George to come back later as a changed man blah blah.

  7. Murphy Says:

I swear if Hunt ends up leaving the show for good or getting killed off Im finished with Greys Anatomy for good he has made this season and he has given the show so much more - take him away and theres nothing left. George can go to Iraq and stay there for all I care but they are not taking Hunt off the show and away from cristina after a season of romantic bliss for entertainment

  8. Andie Says:

I think this is a good exit for TR and "Owen" is there for support. I hope George leaves. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge Grey's fan but I am sick of hearing all the news of "is he or isn't he" so I hope he does, just so I don't have to hear about it anymore! Plus, I've gotten used to him not being there this season anyway. I think all the reports of him complaining about his screen time are going to be murder for his career though. Let's be honest - he's no Katherine Heigl. People mostly only know him for being George and when he goes that's exactly what he'll be remembered as: TR Knight who was George on Grey's Anatomy until he bitched and whined out of his contract.

As for Katherine Heigl - I call BS on the latest article. I believe her that she may not know if she's getting killed off or not but I think she really wants off the show as bad as TR does and probably complains just as much and makes everyones lives just as miserable on the set. But I think that she's just saying she'd be happy to stay so that IF they kill her off, the fans will be upset with the show and NOT her. I think she's just playing it SMART. Either way, I think her acting career will be safe and steady after Grey's - unlike TR's.

  9. simaril Says:

George enlisting? Hiralious, Bambi at war, seriously!!

  10. McHottieAddict Says:

Kevin McKidd signed on for 3 seasons! He's not leaving. Plus, the army wouldn't discharge him (he flat out said they forced him out) and then let him back in. I think George in the army is ridiculous as well. Can you see George in boot camp?

  11. lalaland Says:

ummm... just a thought... what if it's Christina and Owen are enlisting? I know they keep saying George will get the story arch and will take an interest in Owen's specialty of trauma, but does anyone seriously see George a. leaving Izzie's side while she is so sick and b. surviving basic training? just a thought

  12. Andie Says:

So maybe Izzie dies and George enlists?
    All problems solved!

  13. S Says:

I think that Owen will accompany George to the enlisting office and that's how they'll allow T.R. out of his contract, while still giving the show the option to bring him back later when he grows up and stops whining about being a star on one of the best shows on TV. I am disgusted that the show hasn't reallly featured George very much ... I think he's one of the better characters, but I know that, in the past, they featured George and Izzie and George and Lexie pretty heavily, so now it's Cristina and Owen's turn. I hope more than anything that they don't take George off the show, though. It won't be the same show without him. Izzie I could lose a lot easier than George. I feel like George never really got his break - none of his relationships have worked out and he's still not doing much medically, so it would be sad to see him leave at this point, before he fully develops into anything. As far as a wedding goes, I think it would be interesting if it became a double ceremony - Mer/Der and Mark and Lexie. I actually think that Mark is that serious about her.

  14. greysaddiction Says:

All these spoilers and speculation are just killing me lately. I may have to stop reading!!!

I do not want George to leave.

I do not want Izzie to die.

As for the wedding? I think kristen's dream sequence idea may have some bearing-- that would make all the conflicting spoilers make some sense together. And sounds like what Shonda would do or consider...
Just so long as Izzie doesn't die, George doesn't leave and MerDer stay engaged, I'll be OK with it all....

  15. drcookchick Says:

Yeah... I'm siding with T.R. on this one.

  16. simmplypam Says:

gaaah, let's not let george go .. or let izzie die . let her go into a coma that will drive george nuts enough to sign up for the army .. but she'll survive and owen will change george's mind right ?

    RIGHT ?

  17. CatNova Says:

I'm totally thinking that Christina and Owen are leaving together.

  18. Dragos Says:

i hope no one is leaving!!!!

  19. MadamButterfly Says:

I actually think George will be trying to enlist and Owen will go to talk him out if and explain how it is affecting his life now.

Or McDreamy will be there with Owen to work on Owen so he may be working with people who were with Owen during his deployment to try to figure out what is triggering his episodes...

    I cannot wait

  20. MadamButterfly Says:

I have heard rumors that T.R has also asked to be releasedfrom his contract

  21. Gorona Says:

wasnt owen kicked out of the army? my guess... itd be george and karev. i would laugh so hard.

  22. Anja Says:

OF COURSE HE'S NOT REENLISTING! He's already messed up as it is, why would he go back, it wouldn't do anyone any good! Besides, the writers have given us a fix of hot-stuff-redhaired Owen and just wouldn't be fair to cut us off now!

    Right?

  23. Ada Says:

OK TR was not whining. Where did he whine? Show me the article where TR whined, not rumors he whined or people saying he whined, TR whining himself.

George and Lexie had a big storyline? You could have fooled me. They had a few scenes together that were really great last season but this season it was mostly about Lexie pining for George without George even being shown for those scenes. He had 38 minutes the whole first 10 episodes.

Name me one character who ever had such little screentime in an entire season. I bet you can't.

I adore Cristina, but after Meredith and Izzie, she is the one character that probably had the most screentime of them all. Owen is a newbie, a newbie I like, but a newbie. George is way more essential to the show than owen is.

Even last season, Cristina had 4 times more airtime than George.

George had big airtime in season 3, and that is it. The George character and we George fans have been screwed over more than anyone and now his exit storyline is going to be crammed in 4 episodes when we have been begging for him to get a story all season.

Well Shonda can just go screw herself!

  24. HoldTheElevator Says:

Can I just say this will be the most incredibly stupid storyline ever if it happens.

  25. Callie Says:

Why exactly do you think George would fail basic training? I am tired of some people acting like George is this weak little boy. He is not. He works harder than anyone, according to Izzie, and does long hours of work. He did a heart surgery all by himself in an elevator. According to Lexie, George got the most letter of recommendations by his superiors and the most glowing.

His dad died, he failed his exam yet he redit the whole thing and passed.

I think he is way stronger than anyone gives him credit for, and I am sick and tired of the stupid jokes.

George being sweet doesn't make him weak. The fact he can be sweet in this cutthroat world makes him all the more awesome. Izzie at least is smart enough to realize it.

What is it with the losers who think being mean like Alex and Mark maakes you superior somehow? It doesn't.

George is the best of those guys by far.

It's not like he would be joining as a soldier though, he would be a doctor caring for all those wounded soldiers.

It takes an extraordinarily strong and caring person to do this, and George is the best for it.

But no, I don't want George to leave.

George is the whole reason this show has any heart and soul and without him, that show is pretty dark and depressing.
