They better not have George elave because Izzie is ill. George would never abandon his friend shen she needs him, but then this is Shonda we are talmking about. The person who suddenly hates TR and George so I wouldn't put it past her to make Alex the ehro and george the coward loser.
She refuses to ever let him shine at all. If she does this to george, I will never forgive her.

nina-- I so agree with you. I love her. I think she's one of very few stars who doesn't filter everything she says.
Because of that I think everything she says is TOTALLY blown out of proportion and people go after her because she was named as an "it" girl for a while. I also think a lot of stuff about her being a diva on set is totally fabricated. She has a bad wrap, but it's nice to find someone else who really likes her :)
Honestly, my biggest concern is how the MerDer proposal will work out... I really hope season 6 brings a wedding!!! And season 7 a baby!!! wooo!! gotta love merder..

Carla, I think it's safe to say 24-- Greys writer, Pete Nowalk referred to the # of epis in his blog about "An Honest Mistake"-- here's a quote directly from that blog:
"But to be honest there’s a small part of me that’s jealous I don’t get to watch the show from my couch along with the rest of you every week… I’m lying. Grey's made Katherine Heigl a tabloid headline and without this show, she probably wouldn't be raking in movie deals like she has in recent years. I would think that as an actress, I would owe it to the show to stick it out through the end. Many actors/actresses have blossoming film careers and remain on sitcoms as well. It would be a shame to see the show lose two of their original main characters, because once that happens, it will change the dynamic of the show. I'm not sure that it will ever be the same if that happens.

If the diagnosis is metastatic melanoma to the brain, I hope it spreads awareness of that terrible disease. I lost my wife to it in January; she was 31 and a huge fan of the show. I'm going to keep my eye on it for sure and say a prayer for all of those who are suffering with or have been victims of MM. Izzy said that even if the surgery goes perfect she only has five percent chance to survive. So Derek operates and it goes perfectly and they keep her sick for a while, then she dies.
I think the woman who played Samantha on Sex and The City would be funny as Izzys mum because she can sleep with all the interns. lol

I hope that the rumors arent true and Katherine Heigl isnt leaving the show, she is one of my favorite actresses and really the only reason i gave the show a shot and watched the pilot anyway... As for her mom i think Connie Raye would make an excellent trailer mama.
