Izzie's death it's way to get her out of this show, but remember dear creators and all of you that this show will die with Izzie, everybody loves her, by her character i became more human , i cried when she was, i laughed when she was, i had happy moments watching her, i swear i will stop watching this show and many of us will if Izzie won't fight even she has 5% chances to live !

I love Cristina's reaction! She's right why did she tell her if she doesn't want her help?
She does want her help but she feels not strong enough to fight and I think Cristina knows that and she will try to do what's best for her
Am I the only one who really doesn't care? Ugh. Izzie wants to die. If you have that diagnosis, you start searching for answers. I really don't care if she dies or not. It'll give me a reason to stop FF Grey's.
If KH wins an Emmy for this crap and let EP or PD out...I'll break some stuff. They've been excellent this year.

I don't want to watch the show anymore either!
Izzie is my favorite character. I've loved her since the first season.
They can't kill her. It's not fair.
She doesn't deserve it and we don't deserve it neither.
I just can't imagine Grey's without Izzie. It will never be the same.
I will never watch Grey's Anatomy again if KR leaves. Never ever! It's over.

plus put yourself in her shoes... she has a 5% chance of living... would you rather live the rest of your life you have left, or do all this treatment to make you a vegetable and it end up being for nothing? the rest of your life that you have left fighting just to die in the end, i do agree with izzie, its the most human rational thinking you can have, ESPECIALLY as a surgeon.

well ellen popeo is only signed for six seasons and she said she wants to do other things after it, so i don't see how they can go on with the seventh seasons without george, izzie, and meredith?
I don´t get Izzie, really. If it were me, I would get treatment because I got nothing to lose, but 5% is better than no percent at all.
And anyway, she told Cristina, she wants to get better but she is afraid; she is afraid to die and she can´t handle it. That is why she told Cristina, because she doesn´t want people to pitty her. She wants a doctor who won´t feel sorry for her or see her as a poor soul who doesn´t stand a chance.
She needs Cristina´s clinical aproach so she can fight this.
Maybe this is the way for Derek to become Dr. Shephard again and save people who have no other chance.

COME ON Izzie! Live for us! And I agree with most of you, this scene is so emotional and like grey's should be. I also thought that it was really a clever way for writers to get Izzie to tell Cristina in that wind room thing...i loved it!

actually, even if ellen is only signed on for 6/7 seasons, they can still continue it with lexie being the main character... it'll still be greys anatomy, but we'll all miss derek, george, alex, christina and izzie....i hope it continues for atleast 3 more seasons.. i cant imagine not watching greys every weekend...
oh and i think eventually one of the residents or attendings will find out about izzie and he/she will convince her to fight the cancer...
Elisabelle Says:

Alex will convince her to fight or the fact that she loves him so much will give her a reason to fight. She's just in shock at the moment.
It's a difficult decision though- logically, it makes sense to fight for the 5% survival than have a 100% chance of dying but then you may go through hell only to die in pain. You know, 5% may seem small and like such tiny and insignificant odds but it still means than out of ever 100 people, 5 make it. There are still survivors and it isn't impossible to beat. She needs to dwell on that instead of the people who die.
I just hope I never have to make a similar decision. I really like where this story line is going and the opportunities it will give the actors to show how talented they are but I have one issue- why did her hallucinations of Denny all of a sudden stop? Like I get that she chose life and Alex and whatever but if they were caused by the cancer spreading to her brain, surely they wouldn't just stop?
They stopped because most people thought that the hallucinations were too much and didn´t make any sense and Shonda got the message. Or somebody made her get the message.
Anyway, I think that this path is very interesting, the show is making us care again, and I really hope Izzie kicks her cancer´s ass and really choses to live.
And to finish, I really hope that we don´t have to se Denny ever again.
I never bought Alex and Izzie in love at all, especially on Izzie's part.
I believed she loved Denny and George and am a fan of both Dizzie and Gizzie, but AI? NO, I never bought them and never will.
George better not die either. I'd rather Izzie die than him.

I would imagine that when you first get told something like having that sort of cancer you kind of don't accept or believe it at first. She was in a state of shock at first. I believe her reason for acting like this now is that she is finally accepting what is happeneing and its scaring the shit out of her and its time for fight or flight. Its going to be like a chain reaction for her now. One set of events will lead to the end or the begining for her.

i think george will just step forward and convince her to live and that'll finally be his big break this season. Possibly without Izzie even telling him first.
George knows she's been acting weird.
George saw her getting all the tests and saw her go to Dermatology.
Even though at the time these things were not suspicious to him, he really seemed to know that patient x was very important to Izzie in the last episode. And once Lexie tells him Patient x's diagnosis, I think it'll all come together for him and he'll just know that patient x is Izzie.
