Bittersweet is perhaps the best way to describe this great episode of Grey's Anatomy, with one of the show's most wonderful scenes in years coinciding with two incredibly sad (though no less powerful, as all the actors were brilliant) story lines at the end.
He didn't ask, and she didn't answer, but Derek's "Elevator Love Letter" to Meredith left no doubt that they will be together forever. What a wonderful, touching moment.
Cristina and Owen consummated finally their relationship just as they realized they couldn't be together, and Izzie's ailing state left both her and Alex in shambles.

The beginning was a bit much to handle with Owen choking Cristina. Though I think she handled the situation right! I don't want to see them just break up.. so I'm glad he's seeking help :)

I think last night epidode was great. I totally did not see that proposal happening the way it did. Honestly I was expecting something all elaborate and thought out and I really enjoyed watching Derek come to his senses about Meredith. I think the show is really changing up the Meredith character a bit. She is now showing how strong she is and how much she has grown.
