Is tonight the night?
The night when Derek and Meredith finally, after four years of love, drama, heartbreak and intimate moments, officially decide they want to spend their lives together?
It would be fitting if this happened in tonight's episode, "Elevator Love Letter."
Grey's Anatomy premiered March 27, 2005. If fans could celebrate a MerDer engagement tomorrow morning - four years to the day their love was born - well, it would be perfect.
Derek has to actually come through, though, and his first couple of attempts at popping the question haven't exactly gone well. Can he pull the trigger tonight?

See, now... that bubble bath scene? That is the kind of MerDer we have not had in FOREVER. This is supposed to be the season where they finally both have it together, they're all "happy" and stuff... SO WHERE ARE THE ROMANTIC BUBBLE BATH SCENES, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD?!
I will gladly forgive Shonda for the lack of MerDer this season if we get an engagement tonight.

its funny how you mentioned four years tomorrow would mark the start of greys and since the pilot starts with that morning after scene. in "greys" world I guess that would mean tonight would be four years since they actually drunkenly met in joes bar and hit the sheets. haha weirdd.

I really want to see it asap. Does anyone know on which site the episode is uploaded directly after it aired? Because it twelve o'clock at night now, and I'd really like to watch in the morning...

I do hope derek will pop the question in this night episode..The timing would be amazing since the show premeried 4years ago..Plus they are both ready now.. Meredith has grown up,she has faced all her fears... And Derek needed to face he is not a god,he can make some mistakes but he has to be strong enough to rise up
