It one of the periods of the year when the national ratings of the popularity of U.S. TV shows are studied. TV stations normally deliberately schedule main events in plots in some shows in order to boost television ratings.

Right like the ferry crash episodes were during march sweeps for season 3, the bomb episode in season 2 was the superbowl episode or february sweeps.

They are REALLY dragging this Izzy thing out. Two weeks in a row barely any progress, and with 2 hour episodes no less! I want to find out what's wrong with her without resorting to spoilers!
