  1. !greys Says:

i'm to lazy to read this, someone break it down for me. are they leaving or not?

  2. Francois Says:

We don't know. I hope not, George and Izzie are my wife and I's favorite, and we love Gizzie.

    They are why we watch.

  3. Rilla Says:

Oh I hope they are not leaving, especially George. I just love my sweet teddy bear.

  4. greysaddiction Says:

See guys? That's what I've been talking about all along!!! It ain't over until someone REAL gives some REAL information. This Gizzie fan is hanging on faith and assuming that George & Izzie will stay right with Greys. Some tabloid website twisting James Pickens Jr's words and all the hype has everyone so freaked out. I don't believe My George and My Izzie are leaving! Not for one minute!!!
hang in there Francois! I read your comment under the other section-- how lucky you and your wife are to have that kind of love! 45 years!!! Hats off to you! :)

  5. Marie Says:

Oh they need to stay. Gizzie is my favorite couple, and I can't lose them.

I do get why TR would be frustrated though. As a george nd Gizzie fan, I have been extrenely frustarted myself.

  6. François Says:

Thanks Greys. We have been married 45 years, dating 46 and were best friends for 4 years before we fell in love. The George and Izzie couple struck close to home with us, and we were really hoping they would have a happy ending like we had.

We still hope they get it.

  7. Elisa Says:

Here in Brazil lots of Gizzie fans don1t want them to leave. I hope that they end together. When Shonda came up with all that "no quimestry" I was like: "seriuosly??? came on!!!!".

  8. McCynic Says:

Would it be horribly tactless to point out the potential irony of a mass emmy sweep by all the remaining actors if Izzie does get killed off and incite some emmy-worthy performances?

  9. laura Says:

    Alex is gonna be davastated!!
    T_T

  10. MerDerAddicted Says:

This has gone on so long I don't care one way or another. It's time to move on to something else.

  11. ILOVEELLENPOMPEO Says:

i agree MerDerAddicted. move on people this is getting extremely old and boring.

  12. jester Says:

i think it's funny how a certain poster on here seems a bit two-faced with everyone lol

  13. ILOVEELLENPOMPEO Says:

umm are u refering to me jester?!!?!?! and how am i two faced ive never even heard from u before!?

  14. KateWalshLover Says:

Well it's already a fact that TR is leaving because he has been in so little scenes and it's because that's what he wanted. I say good riddance to the both of them. Those two are SO stuck up their own a$$ess and think their careers will soar by leaving...

For them to leave that kind of paycheck with the way the economy is going right now is IDIOTIC. Their careers are over because it will spread around that they think too highly of themselves and no one wants to hire a diva. What makes you can break you.

  15. Larrisa Says:

I think some people need to listen to some T.R. Knight interviews and read what his coworkers have said about him. He's not a diva.

  16. Marina Says:

How is TR stuck up? This is the guy who can't even take a compliment on his acting talent without talking about hwo talented someone else is.

yes do erad what his colleagues say about him, how humble and swet he is, and read his interviews and read what the people interviewing him say. How sweet and modest he is, how he rememebrs every single person's name, from the cameraman to the makeup artist to a journalist he met once years ago.

All the fans who have met him have said how nice he is too.

Name me one time where he has complained publically. Come on, I dare you.

And please point out to me where he said his career would soar.

All the sources have said he simply wants mroe than 10 seconds every week and more lines than Yes sir, OK sir, I am your slave, sir every single week.

He is a talented actor who actually loves to act and doesn't want to get paid for doing nothing.

    Now that is pretty respectable.

Shonda and the writers are the bad guys here not him.

he has never been anything but nice and kind despite everything he ahs been through and despite IW,s smear tactivs,

And really nobody will think he is a diva because he wants more lines than the new interns on the block and a dead ghost.

They better get him to stay or I am so gone.

  17. Andie Says:

Yeah Gizzie was the best. No chemistry, my eye. Shonda sold out to the haters and scrwed all the Gizzie fans, and we were a lot.

I still hate her for it. And now doing this to TR, my George, grrr. If I had a voodoo doll...

  18. Georgefan Says:

I don't want George to leave especially since Shonda won't even have the decency to give this character the great send-off he deserves.

  19. mourghana Says:

Here's a thought... maybe if they gave TR Knight more scenes... some GOOD scenes... they might get some of their ratings back!!!!!!! I mean, what turned everyone on to the show was the interaction between the characters... and we just don't see much of that anymore.
I think the show is becoming too ER-esque. It's focusing too much on the medical side and the character development is getting pushed to the back-burner.
And no offense to the MerDer lovers out there, but enough is enough! Either split up or get hitched already! My husband used to be an avid watcher with me.. but the back and forth of their on again off again relationship has been too much for him. I think it was brilliant to introduce Dr. Owen Hunt (cause he's interesting and I just love him). How about introducing a GOOD love interest for George... one that helps him develop? And let's keep going with the Izzy/Alex relationship. I'd love to see where that goes! (and give up Denny, for gods sake!!!!)

  20. mourghana Says:

Oh... and as for Gizzie... I was so excited to see them get together. The reason they didn't have any chemistry on screen was because they were never given a chance!!!! One day they were on and the next, it was over! They never gave it a chance to develop. Two or three episodes. Boo. Big Boo.

  21. Meredith Gray Says:

Gizzie was given a chance. They just didn't have the right chemistry to be lovers. They do, however, have great chemistry as friends and it would be nice to see that more. Although George and Izzie are not my very favorite characters (I'm a MerDer fan), they both have made significant contributions to the show as a part of the original cast, and it would be sad to see them leave. It can only pull the ratings down further, something Grey's can't afford!

  22. VABeaglelvr Says:

I agree, meredith gray. Izzie and George needed each other as friends. With all the other crap they were dealing with it just didn't fit (them being a couple). Alex is much better for Izzie. Besides I like the friendship between them. It's different than the relationship between say Mer & Christina or the McBuddies

  23. greysaddiction Says:

haha VABeaglelvr-- I love that-- "the McBuddies" !!! ;)

I am a Gizzie fan through and through. I think they have AMAZING friend chemistry and I think they would have AMAZING romantic chemistry too. When they got together as a couple before, they were both struggling through BIG things in their lives. I believe what George said when they broke up-- it was NOT a chemistry problem-- it was a TIMING problem. I believe they belong together one day.... and I also believe that Shonda got spooked by the haters and gave in. Writing in their romance at the time that they did doomed it to be passed off my many fans and Shonda caved under Gizzie hater pressure.

And, for the record, I'm still not believing that TR and KH are leaving until I hear SOMETHING OFFICIAL!!!!

  24. sportsgurl2389 Says:

lets strike outside the studio. :) We want our cast to stick together!!!!

    lol

  25. McCynic Says:

Does nobody consider that maybe both of these actors want to leave, and don't want to be on the show anymore? I don't know...what can the producers do if that's the case? I feel for those of you who are fans of the characters - it always sucks when a favourite character leaves - but if they have different visions for their careers, or don't like the direction of the show, etc. than it's probably time to move on. And maybe they have good reason to be leaving a bad workplace. But if that's the case, it's probably irreconcilable and better that they leave. And if it isn't the case, and they really just want something different, than so be it.

Remember - you're talking about their lives, not your tv-watching habits.
