Well mystery lady, that is your opinion. I along with many others thought George and Izzie had fabulous chemistry. I also thought he had good chemistry with Lexie and those two had a lot rooting for them. I also thought he had good chemistry with Olivia, so in my opinion, he had chemistry with three different women.
The chemistry with Izzie was especially phenomenal. As for him being boring, that is your opinion. I find Derek, Mark, Alex, Lexie, the Chief all boring but I keep this to myself.
Many of us don't find him boring at all.
I know he was the one character I still cared about on this show and I won't be watching without him.

Exactly George and Izzie had amazing chemistry and a lot of fans, but the writers got scared because a bunch of overvocal haters, mostly jealous crazy Alex and izzie fans, spammed and cheated to make it seem like they were massively hated when in fact they had a huge fanbase.
Also many new fans were joining in but then Shonda killed them before they even got a chance, making those new fans jump ship.
Look at Slexiepuke, they get more hate than Gizzie ever did and I believe have a lot les fans but Shonda isn' listening to the haters and is giving them the chance GI never had even though they doN,t have a tenth of the chemistry Gizzie did.
Shonda go so scared of the rabid haters she doesn't even give George and Izzie ANY scene together, scared that their natural chemistry will shine thiough, eclipsing the tepid chemistry between her and Alex.
But then the Slexiepuke fans try to spam everything and we Gizzie fans did not, hence the difference.
So I disagree, I also thought even though I am NOT a gexie fan and hate hr that they ahd great chemistry.
And George? he is the funniest character on the show, hardly boring. Meredith and Derek are. George? he is a riot.
That is when Shonda lets him say more than 2 lines.
Most of my favorite moments on the show were with him.
Seriously Shonda hates TR and doesn't care about the George fans so I will be elaving. If I don't matter to her, why should I watch?

To some people Meredith IS annoying. To some people Meredith IS boring. Just like other characters. People like characters they can relate to. Not that many people can relate to Meredith. Not that many can relate to Cristina. Not that many can relate to Izzie, ect., ect. All viewers are strung around with relations.
I've always been able to relate to George somewhat because he used to get himself into awkward situations once upon a time when he had a storyline... He'd speak without thinking occasionally, I tend to do that. We both had stupid mouths you could say.
To some people, Meredith is THE greatest character in history. To me and others, George is the greatest character. To others, Cristina's the greatest. Or Hunt is. Or Burke. It's the person making the calls in personal opinion. Really, it's retarded to fight about Meredith, George, Izzie, ect. about greatness and crap because basically, it's a matter of opinion. In reality? They're all works of art in their own way.
I love your post Dr Cook. In addition to that though, I don't think that everyone should beleive everything they hear about Katherine and TR leaving. All different people in entertainment have been saying that Katherine an TR would be leaving for at least two months, and nothing has happened yet!

George and Izzy makes the show. He is cute, sweet, sensative. They are the ones that everyone goes to when in need. They hold the glue together! I am not saying I wont watch it with them being gone which I will, but i will not look forward to it every week and count down the days until Thursday night. I mean who blames Izzie for wanting to move on. Look at her character. The show revolves around merder. She is a great actress and anyone in her situation would do the same, so stop being such ass holes about her voicing her opinion!
As for george he is a wonderful actor and had a lot of chemestry with girls on the show. His character was just focused more on medicine and saving people then sleeping with all the doctors and nurses. Same thing with george as Izzy they have totaly just about written him out of the show I mean what does he get 2 minutes each show. He was the one who got the first surgery dont disgrace him like that.
I am completely upset about this episode. It was good but very intense, maybe to intense. Good luck to Izzy and George I will miss you and the show will not be the same with out them. Who is going to be the rock? Whose next Bailey?
Remember after burke left it was completely different.
