I don't think that she is "DYING", however I think that she has an anyeruesm(however u spell it), that, left UNTREATED, will kill her. But now that she knows there is something wrong with her, she knows to look for something. Wouldn't it be horrible if it had something to do with Archer(addy's brother) like the tests got mixed up, that the interns run, and they Izzie's tests actually go to Archer and he gets diagnosed with what she has...just a thought. I can't wait for tomorrow!!!
I think this may be good for Izzi/KHeigl. I mean she's been complaining about not having a good story line and aside from her post-mortem fornication this is a pretty good one. I don't know why she would even think of complaining about a show that would win her multiple awards AND get her the attention that got her a movie deal in the first place!!!

She did not know his name and threw him out of her house after having sex with him; He kept her sleepless and she hardly stood so much sex at the beginning of serial,He did not want to tell her anything about himself; He went back to Addison ...
MerDer relation was terribly wrong and abusive at the beginning but it get improved afterwards.
Some improvement Shonda could do for the other couples in the serial. For now MerDEr couple is the only surviver

I would LOVe to know what the heck people are talking about when they keep saying that Katherin keeps complaining about her storylines because from what I know, I only know of her saying that ONCE and it was inferred and never a straigt out "My stories are crap, the show is crap, everyone there is crap, I`m better than everyone, I want out." Because honestly, seems like she DId say those exact words with the way people are acting here.
Though they haven't been reporting it lately Katherine Heigl made it very clear last fall that she wanted to do more movies and possibly off the show. She acutally said that she did not want to be nominated for an Emmy becuase she thought her character did not receive a storyline worthy of a nomination. She was right. It wasn't. Every year thousands of actors do not submit themselves for consideration for the Emmys for exactly that reason yet they are not bashed for it constantly. It has nothing to do with being ungrateful - she is on record so many times saying how grateful she has been for the opportunity Grey's has afforded her. However, she is currently one of the most in demand movie stars in the world (like it or not) and the 5th highest paid movie actress in the world after Jolie, Roberts, Witherspoon and Diaz. She is currently restricted from making movies due to the fact she is in Grey's and bound by her contract. Fair enough. However, it must be pretty upsetting when she is unable to make movies and the material she is getting on the show is poor. If you were in a job and the tasks you were given were not good you would look to change that, complain to your boss or move to another job / company. How is it any different? It isn't. Yet she is supposed to just put up with it? I say good for her for standing up for herself. She wasn't mean or rude - she is just honest - sometimes too honest for her own good. If people ask her something she tells them. She doesn't lie or hide behind a publicist. When she speaks she speaks from her heart and she tells it like it is. I love that. Hollywood is so false and it is nice to have at least one person who doesn't tow the "everyone and everything is wonderful" line.
Katherine Heigl is the best thing on the show and the shows biggest star. If she goes I give Grey's one more season at best. You heard it first here.

If she does want to leave the show to pursue movies - what is wrong with that exactly? Nothing as far as I am concerned. I think I would in her shoes. The show has been on a downward spiral and she has had some ridiculous story lines. Can you blame her for wanting to leave? The whole Denny / Izzie thing has been panned by critics, last season she rescued a deer..I mean come on.
She is an excellent actress and has a good movie career - I certainly wouldn't begrudge her the opportunity.

Not only is it from the National Enquirer (and I know there were MANY other reports about it), it`s about ONE remark, over a year ago, and STILL, her words were not that she was ungrateful or complaining. She made a decision (which I think is pretty noble nowadays in Hollywood and in the music industry too) and her one problem was that when she was asked why she made that decision, she told the truth (which, for the most part, everyone was thinking already). That was her biggest mistake that I`m sure to this day she regrets because people won`t let it go (maybe not for saying it, because she doesn`t seem the type, but for the big deal everyone made out of ONE comment and how it was turned aroudn to make whoever is "honest" just a plain "b!tch"). That one comment was blown way out of proportion and she just let it die. I didn`t even realize that she was the 5th highest paid actress behind THOSE women of all women (that`s a big deal!) and I`m sorry if people here think she`s only been in two movies because she`s been around since she was very young on TV and movies. And yes, Grey`s definitely gave her (and everyone else on that show) the push she needed, but I`ve also never heard her discount that. Instead, she`s only had positive things to say about what the show has doen for her. I have a tendency to take things with a very tiny grain of salt unless I hear it from the horse`s mouth.
And of course, anyone`s entitled to their opinion and peopel don`t HAVE to like the actress or her character. We all have different tastes! I just often visit here and I couldn`t take the bashing anymore of the actress like "she`s an ass" and other comments based purely on something that she didn`t ACTUALLY say and was blown way out of proportion too. I Just want to say that I 100% agree with Xmen. Katherine Heigl made a comment ONE time...she drew her name out because she said she wasn't given good enough material to deserve an emmy...umm correct me if I'm wrong, but look at season 4 of Grey's....Izzie did not have 1 major storyline, except for sleeping with george. No major dramatics, or anything, and she won an emmy the year before...I think it was a bold and daring move, and could of been taken 1 of 2 ways....Wow she is noble for backing out of something that she probably didnt' deserve that year, or 2. she is an ungrateful brat. Regardless who cares.
I respect and admire Katherine Heigl because she has a voice, and doesn't care if her voice is heard, and who hears it. I've said it before and I'll say it again, WAY too many celebrities same the same thing over and over, the voice of their publicists come out...we don't hear them. Katherine has an opinion, and like any other outspoken opinionated person, whether famous or not, when her voice is heard, there are going to be people who don't like it. And who cares, I know I don't and its obvious she doesn't.
I am sure KAtherine will not be leaving Grey's because so help me god if she does, I agree with xman...grey's will quickly go down hill.
