A: There was a rumor going around Friday that Katherine Heigl had finally wiggled her way out of her Grey's Anatomy contract. However, an ABC insider vehemently denies it. The source insists that Shonda Rhimes has already mapped out the final episodes of the season and nothing in them points to an imminent Izzie exit. Well, except for that whole ****** thing.

late opinion:It would be better if
Ava and Alex were together
Izzie and George were in and left the show together
and no Denny at all(or Denny should be in one (last)scene with Izzie)

Sam I think you are right, I mean she has been in what 2 movies....I think she needs to realize that the world isn't about her it's not called Stevens Anatomy, she's not the main character and if you ask me she is getting a lot of screen time so it's not emmy worthy (everyone else's has been) get over it, but she is on a lot, sometimes more than some of the bigger characters i think

I have to disagree. I absolutely adore Katherine Heigl. I feel that the media makes a big deal about any small inkling of conflict, in anything just to make money in tabloids, celebrity gossip, etc. I hope that Izzie doesn't leave the show, because as a loyal grey's fan, I would be very upset. She is my favorite character and everyone has their own opinions. However, just because Meredith's name is in the title of the show, does not mean she should have ALLL the screen time! But really none of us can talk because NONE of us knows what really goes on behind closed doors...

mmm, the tv viewers are under impression that the characters are too many and the actors are fighting for screen time.The actors can not gain enough money from the show and because of that are
displeased.

I completely agree! I love her movies. I feel that the cast may be too big yes, but look at ER. Shonda is just needing to balance the screen time...sometimes one character has a major storyline while the others don't....they can't all have all the screen time...I'm a pretty loyal fan, so I am just going to sit back be patient and enjoy the ride. Can't wait for tomorrow!

Well, I guess some fans don't like Izzie. I don't get it-- I love Izzie!!! Rumors will be rumors--- they certainly do stir things up a bit. But I will not believe any of it until it is officially announced and especially whereas an inside source says that it's not true, then I am going to assume Izzie will stay. We need Izzie. All 5 original interns must remain. And Izzie is a great character with a lot of depth. I certainly hope any trouble behind the scenes gets sorted out.

its really bothering me that he knows whats wrong with izzie and he won't tell us! lol, is she really dying? its just not making sense because the spoilers from the tvguide guy say that she very well may die, but then he says that shes not getting out of her contract, but last weeks episode said she was dying...but if she died she would be off the show. so this puzzle is all pieced out. haha

I mostly like Izzie, I love Alex & think Alex/Izzie are a great combination - as long as Denny stays the hell away...
Hated the whole Ava thing - it was fine in the beginning, but it just went really, really wrong...
Gizzie - yawn - boring... IMO, of course - I know others love it... I think their best friendship really needs to come back. Also, Mexie is growing on me... They were cute last (1st run) episode. I'm intrigued...
