Q: I'm tired of hearing about the Addison-Derek kiss! Tell me it's not going to happen. If Meredith and Derek break up over this, I'm out. Shonda Rhimes is a liar.
A: It does appear there is a kiss in the promo, but as I said before, there will be no romance between Addison (Kate Walsh) and Derek (Patrick Dempsey). My source said "your eyes are playing tricks on you." So fear not! And for the love of nonlovers with good hair, keep the pins away from your Shonda voodoo doll, OK?
Any affection between Addison and Derek - now friends - is purely platonic.

Of course it is purely platonic! We all know he loves Mer! As he has said-- she's the real thing!
I look forward to seeing Addie back at SGH and I'm not worried about anything romantic b/t Addie and Der at all!!!!

totally agree!! Shonda has caught enough crap this season. I thought I was one of the only people who didn't even worry about this. After everything she's done to get Mer adn Der in the right place, WHY ON EARTH would she screw with that??
If she did that she would seriously have to be escorted everywhere she went.

Season 2 was the best by far. I wish Addison had never left. She added some spice to that show and with every one else all dark and dreary it's kind of depressing.

i am so excited about addie coming back to SGH, too! she truly made grey's on season 2. first you hate her, then you're all depressed when you leave because you've grown to love her so much! yay!
but as for this kiss thing, i'm sure it's more of a kiss you'd give your friend rather than a lover's kiss-and probably a congratulatory thing for derek proposing or something (or maybe archer surviving if that happens)

i just read that james pickens told us weekly that katherine heigl was leaving the show after this season:( He said that it was true that she was leaving and wished her te best in whatever she would do. i also read that T.R knight was leaving after this season. this sucks because i love george:(
