Bonnie, it's not even confirmed that they're leaving.

Last night's episode was probably the best that I've seen in a while. I cried when Derek told that man his wife died. It was so sad!
I loved Gizzie, but Alex and Izzie have warmed up to me. I wish Izzie would tell Alex what's going on so he can be there for her. I wish she'd tell George so he can be there for her, too. Or one of them. She needs her best friend and boyfriend right now.
McDreamy and McSteamy fighting...can you picture anything hotter?
Is it just me, or has Callie's time been slashed a little? I don't remember seeing her that much last night.
I'm sad that T.R. is apparently still planning to leave. He's a great actor. I still love George, even though he's barely had any scenes. I tend to appreciate his character more when he appears.
I wish Addison would return to Grey's more often. I love her :)

Without question, last night's episode of Grey's Anatomy entitled An Honest Mistake was the best episode of this season so far. It presented the same magic that Grey's Anatomy had in seasons 1-3, and I'm really rooting for more of it! I can't wait! This season is proving to be terrrrific beyond expectations!
And yes, TR Knight is leaving the show and let me tell you this, I will not miss him one bit. He had great moments but after George married Callie, he was surely a goner. I have fallen out of love with him since.
I, however, will miss Katherine Heigl. She's part of the show as much as Kate Walsh is. I won't mind seeing her guest star again in future seasons like what Kate does now. And I always love it when they bring Addison back. The show feels complete again that way you know?
And man, the high-profile guest stars keep on coming and it's definitely catapulting Grey's Anatomy back to its royal throne! Shonda Rhimes, you are doing a GREAT job!
And seriously, if you haven't seen last night's episode, watch it! Watch it like right now! Seriously! It was that fantastic!
merder: The three week break is because they're getting ready to do the March sweeps. They're about ready to wrap up season five and they're going to hold off new episodes so there'll be enough time for them to film everything and stuff. That, and I think they like to keep us waiting in anticipation, haha.
Ah, that's right, I apparently didn't see the entire episode. Mark beat Derek up too, yes? Yes, that's what I recall seeing.

can somebody PLEASE tell me why we have to wait 3 freaking weeks for the next episode?? i don't get why they have these stupid breaks for several weeks all the time. it certainly doesn't make me a bigger fan of abc
We're not idiots, we're curious. I'm aware of George MIA. My friend who doesn't watch nor likes the show is aware of it. People in third world countries that don't get the show are aware of it. So, that wasn't really necessary to point out.
I watch and pay attention during his parts. I have the show on but glance back and forth at it. The show hasn't interested me since earlier this season. It was around the time when Sadie appeared was when I lost interest.
Now, I'm glad Derek kicked the crap out of Mark. I thought it was one of the most epic moments in Grey's history. I wish Hunt would have joined the fight. Can you just imagine that? WWE gone to Seattle Grace! Ya know, that'd be a really good episode... Bring some of the WWE wrestlers on there to be treated with some strange object in their skulls, even if it is all fake. A stunt could have gone wrong. And they should stick George and Alex on the case together. Can you just imagine the friendship they could build?

I agree with you. Where the hell is Alex? He told Addie he wanted to run away. Maybe he's slowly going away from Izzie. He should think about a bigger thing, since his girlfriend sees dead guys, she doesn't see things right in front of her, and she has lumps on her back . This often means there's a problem. A big problem.
Jen's operation has been so sad! It reminds me season 2's "Crash into me".
Mark really chose a bad moment to tell him about Lexie. Well, I've seen some promo pictures and they're together, laughing. I'm sure they're going to be friends again. Mark-Lexie scene was so cute. I love them together. And I've missed Mer-Der scenes like last night's one. The two of them, drinking and kissing.
I'm absolutely optimist, I think GsA magic 's coming back. Can't wait for next episode!

First off....it was just a mole on her back...lots of people have moles. So Alex didn't think anything of it. He isn't a bad boyfriend...and you would know that if you actually watched all the episodes in full and not just bits and pieces. Don't go off on stuff after you say "This is the first episode that I've sat down and watched all the way through and paid attention in a long time." Also if you have been paying attention this whole george MIA...yeah thats been going on since the beginning of the season and is so much discussed it is now annoying...and that is a george fan talking!

That is what I said in the other thread. How has he not seen that thing on her back?
Oh, I forgot to add: Why the hell doesn't Alex know what's going on with Izzie? The Izzie I know would have confined in her boyfriend or best friend about this.
This is the first episode that I've sat down and watched all the way through and paid attention in a long time.
I can see that I haven't missed out on anything.
This thing with Izzie... It's sad. Her boyfriend is not there for her, and her best friend isn't even there. Oh! Speaking of her good ol' best friend George, ex-lover, ect., where's he been?
Three miniscule George scenes. Maybe there was four, I wouldn't know since I had to do a brief run outside because some people are irritating...
To me, the best parts from last night's episode were the brief George bits (what can I say? He's my favorite character whether some of you like it or not), Derek and Mark beating each other up (Go Derek!) and Bailey's scenes. Bailey is amazing, and I think the Chief should have written a better letter of recommendation. But in a way, I'm glad he didn't cos we got another five seconds of George.
Ahh...maybe the next episode will have seasons 1-2 magic.
