Monique, I think it would be unlikely that you would be on the case had your daughter been killed, just as generally you're not allowed to treat family members, you wouldn't be allowed to treat the man who had killed your daughter.
I'm not pro death penalty, personally I think that the person deserves to sit in a cell for the rest of his/hers life with their guilt. But since this is just a tv programme I'm not going to think about it too much ;)
Can't wait for this episode, should be good :D

Hunt and the serial killer have the same reddish shade of hair.
I like it.
I'm pro-death penalty, but I agree with Meredith. They should treat him and not judge him because they are doctors. Their job is not to judge their patients, simply to treat them. He should be treated so that he will be able to be executed--he doesn't deserve an easy way out. This particular patient provokes quite a bit of controversy and should make for an interesting episode.

Cannot wait for this episode. I know this sounds wishy-washy, but I'm sometimes pro-death penalty... some crimes are just too horrible, and there are a lot of statistics out there that show guilty killers killing again and again after being released... but I've never been directly put in any situation similar to this. We can't judge and the doctors can't judge. Sure, this guy had his chance in front of jury. Does he deserve to die? Probably. Because he is sentenced to death, should the doctors ignore his very real pain? No. It easy to see where all of them are coming from, but I do agree with Meredith on this one. They're doctors. They should save him; he is still a person. But I do understand Cristina and Derek.

Back in Season 1 Derek sewed up the penis guy who raped and beat that girl and then delivered him to the cops. Maybe he feels differently now? As for Mer/Chris the synopsis says the death row pt is what is causing the further deterioration of the friendship. Hmmm.

Does the serial killer know the broken penis guy? How did they split Meredith on that night?
Flashback or explanation will be nice.

The eyes of Meredith should be colder, you know, like winter day. (see The Silance of lambs or another Foster's movie.)
I agree with christina and merideth. Even if they dont know what exactly he did, he is on death row! I'm sure that death row isnt for shoplifters! On the other hand, he could be their because he was faulsly accused. They doi need to know the story. Personally, this would be a hard on for me. I cant really decide. If i was one of the doctors there, i would request to be taken off the case.

you should seriously consider not putting up these sneak peeks. they completely ruin the episode by giving away nearly everything and take away the thrill of finding out what the next episode is about. i know, i know, if i don't like them then i shouldn't watch them right? however i still come on this website for other grey's information and it's hard to ignore all of these spoils and give aways. just a suggestion

Derek and Christina are idiots. Their job is to save him and cure him, to treat him well that is the first rule of Medicine, is very simple if they can't follow that rule they have no business being Doctors or treating that patient in particular. I agree with Meredith they can't judge him is not their job, their job is to cure him that it end of discustion. Apart from the fact that he is a serial killer he is going to be punish soon isn't him, so why are they bothering to go out of their way to punish him, is not their job. I mean is not on their job description isn't. Derek and Christina need to get a clue on this issue. Meredith is so right on this issue.

Does the first rule of medicine have some exceptions?
Obviuosly Cristina and Derek think that rule does not cover all the cases(people sentenced to death or serial killers)
I bet that the exceptional student Cristina learned all the rules.
Meredithis a bit careless.
