Very Good episode overall. LOOOOOOVE my MER/DER...can they be any cuter together...OMG. I even almost liked Sadie...at least she had a reason for being there...much better story line this week for her.
Always love when the fab five interact w/each other. If the writers would give them good scripts, then maybe they'd be more apt to stay.

Now I want to know exactly what happened in Amsterdam that she and Sadie's friendship kind of fell apart.
Owen and Cristina are killing me. I've been waiting since his first appearance for them to get where the writers say they are going. I'm an impatient person, and if they moved this too fast I probably wouldn't believe much in the connection that they are trying to establish between these two people.
I can't even go there with Izzie right now. Can't even go there. Denny getting tears in his eyes after he gave her a "present". If I was someone who could get past the fact that HE'S DEAD I would have been incredibly moved (and a little bit disgusted by Izzie) but he is dead and she is allowed to have two boyfriends because she's crazy. I remember when she was my favorite character. That was before Gizzie.

I loved the episode, seems like forever since they were last on with a new one, I almost needed a refresher!
Like the storyline with Merideth & Derek. Hate the fighting between her & Christina though. I love the fun, drinking tequila, dancing fun stuff between them. Hope the fight ends soon - I think it will be Meredith that goes the extra mile, but she has to come up with something good to get Christina to break.
I'm one of the few that don't like Mark & Callie together. They are good together as friends (although she needs a female friend). I LOVE McSteamy! He's so hot! I don't mind him with Lexie although a long time ago I wanted him with Izzy. She's always the one that told him to get over himself and I thought had the potential to change him. Lexie just looks like a love-struck puppy. But at least we still get to see him take his shirt off!!!!
Love Alex & Izzy together. I'm glad Alex was ok with Izzy, but for pete's sake, doesn't he deserve a more sane woman after what he just went through? And he's finally changing, he deserves a little more romance and a little less crazy in a woman. Time to make a diagnosis on Izzy and get on with it. The cake gesture was great! Even Denny was moved by that one. How can Izzy be happy though with a ghost following her around everywhere? That was weird to me.
PS -- Like Arizona so far! Still hate Sadie, but she was better last night than she has been. Glad Hahn is gone. She was just cold-hearted and arrogant. Zero personality in that character, I wish Bailey would have told her off a few more times before she left though!!!

Why pillow again in MerDer relations?

Overall, I think last night's episode was pretty good. Owen Hunt is possibly the sweetest guy ever, and I love getting to see more of him. I really want Meredith and Cristina to make up though, because at times Cristina was a complete jerk to Owen, and he shouldn't have to suffer because of this stupid feud. I would really like to see Derek and Owen patch things up between the girls.
As for Mark and Lexie.. I'm not really a fan. I love love love Mark Sloan, but Lexie is just too young and naive. I just don't see that relationship working out. In the end, I would love for Callie to realize that she isn't a lesbian, she never was a lesbian, and that she loves Mark. xD Because seriously... There is so much chemistry there, and if there is never going to be a Mark/Callie, the writers need to tone down the chemistry between them. Stop getting my hopes up!! It's just not fair. That kiss between them last night was adorable. And then when she said she felt nothing... Whatever! Who could kiss that man and not feel anything? Stop lying, Callie.
Lastly, umm.. when is Sadie leaving? Seriously. I can't stand her. She's too wild for the SGH program. Even when Alex, Izzie, George, Mer and Cristina were interns, they weren't that crazy. She let a bunch of brainless interns try to take out her appendix, for crying out loud. Something is wrong with that girl. And as for Callie's "attraction" to Sadie... SHE LET SOME INEXPERIENCED INTERNS TRY REMOVE HER PERFECTLY FINE APPENDIX. Callie, Sadie is insane. How are you attracted to her? She's crazy! Stop questioning your sexuality. You aren't gay or bi, you are a straight woman. Dear Lord..
Oh, one more thing... NO MORE DENNY. He's dead, let the dead be dead. Izzie is finally happy with Alex, so just.. Get rid of Denny. Why does Izzie think that it's not a big deal that she's seeing her dead fiancee? I would get myself to a neurologist. ASAP.

QUOTES :) More for you to add. :)
Mer: [voiceover] We all get at least one good wish a year over the candles on our birthday. Some of us throw in more. On eye lashes, fountains, lucky stars... and every now and then, one of those wishes comes true. So what then? Is it as good as we'd hoped? Do we bask in the warm glow of our happiness? Or... do we notice we've got a long list of other wishes waiting to be wished?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mer: I don't wanna go to work. It's warm in here, it's like a cocoon. No Cristina with the mean face.
Der: No lives to save
Mer: A quickie. A quickie will make me feel better.
Der: We definitely need a quickie...
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Callie: I think we've got a parathyroid tumor for you to remove.
Mark: Really?
Lexie: Did I just hear tumor removal? Ah my resident abandoned me. Do you need any help?
Callie: Sure.
Mark: No! Or... Fine. But you'll watch. You're not touching anything. Get it! No touching.
Callie: Ah... She's up in ultrasound, call and see if they took her yet.
Lexie: Ok.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Callie: You slept with her?
Mark: Absolutely not.... only once. She came to my hotel room, took off all her clothes and said teach me! So I had no control, she violated me with her nakedness. Derek's gonna kill me.
Callie: Well you shouldn't have been alone with her.
Mark: Never gonna happen again. Mind blowingly fantastic as it was.
Callie: Hey you are a professional!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sadie: Hey! Oh... hold on...
Callie: Umm....
Sadie: Hold tight... just a bit of lint. Um, ultrasounds backed up but they said they'd have results in half an hour.
Callie: Alright. Well... tell.. uh... tell Grey. And uh... let um...George...Dr George... let Dr O'malley know... let him know... let him know when you know. Ok.
Mark: You were saying something about professionalism?
Callie: Did you see that! That was not in my head right?
Mark: I'm tellin ya these interns are out of control.
Callie: Stalkers...!
Mark: Sexed up stalkers!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mer: Lets just wait for the films
Cris: I think this is a waste of time.
Der: I hate to agree with Yang, but I agree with Yang.
Mer: [Pissed off] DR SHEPHERD. What's that?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Der: Some pinging on the spinal chord. I can't tell if it's going through or not though.
Mer: Well, we'll get a better picture once we get the CT's back.
Cris: I ordered an MRI, the CT may not give us a clear view of the chord
Owen: We'll be happy to look at all the images.
Der: We'll do everything by the book. I don't want some lawyer keeping him alive on the basis that we did not give him the standard of care.
Owen: You're pro death penalty?
Der: I'm pro punishment.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mer: Good people do bad things, people screw up. He's still a person. We don't know what crime he committed.
Cris: Well maybe he killed a cop. Lets feel all warm for the cop killer.
Mer: We don't know what he did! We can't judge!
Cris: No, but a jury can. Death row!
Der: I can't believe we're wasting time debating this. Do a repeat CRIT and let me know if he needs blood.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Owen: I thought they were friends....
Der: They were.
Owen: And now?
Der: Now, you and I are in for a very very long day.
Owen: Ahuh.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mr Dunn: She's kind of a bitch. Not to use course language, but she is.
Mer: Well, she's my friend.
Mr Dunn: Really?
Mer: We had a fight. Mr Dunn, it will really help us when we take it out if we know what that thing in your back is.
Mr Dunn: I'm pretty certain it was a toothbrush, and somebody snapped the head off and melted it down so it was less toothbrush and more knife.
Mer: How did it end up in your spine?
Mr Dunn: Got in a fight with a friend.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mer: Mr Dunn is still in a huge amount of pain. Can I give him more morphine, or will that cause problems with his neuro exams?
Der: Mr Dunn has had enough morphine.
Mer: Right, but he's got a foreign body lodged in his spine. It's inhumane.
Der: No, killing people is inhumane. Denying him pain killers is a judgement call.
Mer: Derek, what's wrong with you?
Der: I watch people die all the time. I go to families and tell them their world has been ripped apart all the time, and I fight like a dog to make sure that I don't have to deliver that message. And I lose that fight all the time. Then some guy like Dunn comes along and simply throws it away. Life. Then he's got the nerve to tell me that he and I are two sides of the same coin.
Mer: You're not.
Der: He doesn't need morphine.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mark: But she's exquisite, and it's not just the sex we talked for hours. And laughed.
Callie: It's just the sex.
Mark: Yeah, you gonna tell me you're not thinking about Sadie?
Callie: Nope. No I cannot have another stupid romantic disaster in this hospital. It's embarrassing!
Mark: You do have quite a track record.
Callie: Alright, you know what... we need to. We need to... find something else to think about.
Mark: Worth a try. [kisses Callie]
Callie: Nope not working
Mark: Nope
Callie: Ok. OH OK! We're like addicts right? We need a 12 step programme.
Mark: I'm not going to a meeting to discuss my obsession with with my best friends, girlfriends, half sister.
Callie: No no no, it'll just be us. We'll be each others sponsors. Make sure we stay on the programme.
Mark: What are the steps?
Callie: Don't get naked with an intern... It's more of a one step programme.
Mark: Maybe I should write this down.
Callie: Yeah.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mark: We're gonna need a strategy. Their hot little eyes are tracking out every move.
Callie: Ok, no ah... casual glances over the shoulder. No, this is interesting can I see.
Mark: As soon as Margaret's tumor is out, we'll have them take it to pathology to get it analyzed.
Callie: Go team.
Mark: Break.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Owen: Are they still not speaking?
Der: No. It doesn't look like it.
Owen: Well, 2 hours in an ice cave.
Der: Working on Seattle's man of the year.
Owen: At least we've got each other, we can pretend not to notice. Talk about the sea hawks or something.
Der: Or we could just take off, go grab a beer. Let them pull up the shift.
Owen: Onward and upward.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Der: Wow, sharp... no wonder he was complaining so much.
Cris: he wasn't complaining after he got 10 extra of morphine.
Der: You did an extra 10 of morphine?
Mer: Yes, and it made him much more comfortable
Der: It doesn't it bother you that this guy probably hacked a family of 4 to death with a machete?
Cris: A knife. And women, not a family. 5 women. It's what he likes.
Der: You shouldn't even be on this case, either of you.
Mer: What's he gonna do, jump off the table and get us. Your the one holding the knife.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Owen: We'll be doing a nephrectomy, either one of you ever immobilized the renal hilum?
Mer: Never done one, but I'd love to try.
Cris: I've practiced on cadavers, probably hundreds of times. It wouldn't be my first try.
Mer: Oh, well to some of us surgery comes naturally... others have to practice.
Owen: You see the sea hawks game last week?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mark: We did good work today.
Callie: If we stay strong
Mark: Don't get drunk
Callie: Keep staring at joe, we'll be fine.
Mark: You only live once, you can't waste it.
Callie: No mark! Look at joe, look at joe! Wait, look at me! No!
Mark: Sorry kid, I'm goin to Denver.
Callie: Mark! Come back here! No, Mark... No! No! Damn it... Damn it, damn it, damn it!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Der: Two guys, shot my Dad for his watch. My Mum saved up for it. Two guys came into a store and shot him, because he wouldn't give it up. That's how my Dad died. We are supposed to treat everybody the same, but their not all the same.
Mer: I'm sorry. It's a bad day all around I guess.
Der: I wish I could make things better with you and Cristina.
Mer: I wish you could too.
Der: I try to think what she would do, in a situation like this but I don't know.
Mer: Well she would ah... turn the music up pretty loud and she would dance it out with me. But, I don't think you wanna go there.
Der: Well, lets see what we've got here. [Turns music on] Oh, WOOH! YEAH! Look out! Hey, come on, get up! Get your ass over here, I'm not doin this by myself....
[Mer gets up and starts to dance] There you go.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mer: [voiceover] We wish because we need help. And we're scared, and we know we may be asking too much. We still wish though. Because sometimes they come true.
