So strong was the speculation that T.R. Knight wanted off Grey's Anatomy - and would be granted this request - that we went so far as to post our favorite memories of George.

A: I can tell you T.R. Knight's rumored departure is not a done deal and that last I heard from my sources, there is a possibility they may work it out to have him stay on the series. Anyone else crossing your fingers that he'll stick around?

I hope that T.R. stays on with Grey's. Hopefully things will work out and he'll be given more screen time.

The season is great for ski but if T.R.Knight has some other plans we will be happy to learn them.

I wonder if they're gonna give him more money or a better storyline.
I hope we get a good plot not a supernatural/near-death-experience/or disatrous-love-story storyline, the show doesn't need it.
It would be a pity to lose another piece of the puzzle.

I hope he stays and gets a good storyline. He's a great actor, and I love George. It'd be a shame, in my opinion, to lose him.
